We are happy to announce the birth of Dr. Brody and Jeff’s son, Jacob. Born on September 20th everyone is settling in well at home including big brother Logan and Peanut of course. Dr. Brody will be back in the office in the new year and in the meantime will be soaking up the newborn cuddles and snuggles!

Friendly, indoor cat, Thurgood got out a week ago around 8 AM in The Clusters - George Walton Bldg- in Turnersville. If anyone has seen him please reach out asap! He has a microchip. If you call our office we can reunite them.

Another amazing addition to our Voorhees family! 🩺🐾

We’re excited to welcome Dr. Rachel Waltzer to the Voorhees Veterinary Center family!

Dr. Waltzer grew up right here in Cherry Hill and has always had a passion for caring for animals, both large and small. After earning her Bachelor of Science from Cook College at Rutgers University, she went on to graduate from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2015.

After practicing in northern Virginia for two years, Dr. Waltzer returned home to South Jersey to be closer to her family — and we’re so happy to have her here!

A Few Things to Know About Dr. Waltzer

Dr. Waltzer is Fear Free Certified and has special interests in dentistry, palliative care, and Greyhounds. She especially enjoys getting to know the Greyhounds who visit her, having had one of her own.

At home in Mount Laurel, Dr. Waltzer stays busy with her husband, son, tiny rescue dog, two cats, chickens, a fish, and even a collection of plants!

When she’s not caring for patients, she enjoys riding horses, hiking, reading, cooking, and gardening.

Our family is growing! 🩺🐾

We are excited to introduce the newest veterinarian joining the team at Voorhees Veterinary Center, Dr. Emily Katz!

Originally from Maryland, Dr. Katz earned her veterinary degree from Michigan State University. During veterinary school, she completed summer internships in Philadelphia and quickly fell in love with the area, making it an easy decision to return after graduation.

Dr. Katz is looking forward to meeting the wonderful pets and families of Voorhees Veterinary Center and is excited to provide both wellness and sick-pet care. Her current professional interests include ophthalmology, radiology, and soft tissue surgery, though she enjoys exploring all aspects of veterinary medicine and continues to expand her areas of expertise.

Dr. Katz is passionate about building relationships with clients and partnering with pet owners to help their companions live happy, healthy lives.

You're invited to join us on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at 2400 Voorhees Town Center, Voorhees, NJ 08043 for National Night Out!

This is a fantastic opportunity to meet and interact with local police officers, K-9 units, and first responders. Best of all, it’s a FREE event. There will be plenty of activities, including police vehicles, drone displays, food trucks, a petting zoo, bounce houses, and much more.

We encourage all community members to attend and help us make it a fun night for everyone. We look forward to seeing you there!
