🐶 Sarah has many "favorites" but for the purpose of this, she narrowed it down to the Sphynx and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel!!
🐱 She has had a couple Sphynx over years- one clinic celebrity was our beloved Moses who lived out his senior years here at the clinic with us!
🐶 She has also had a couple cavaliers which she loves- she's pictured here with her Layla as well as a patient Layla who has been coming to TBAH for years!

🐶 Elisabeth has a couple favorite breeds but the yorkie has a special place in her heart!
🐶 She has her own yorkie, Bella, that she's had since she was very young- see them snuggling in the pictures below.
🐶 Bella accompanies her mom on paddle boarding adventures in her senior years and is living her best life!

Have we recommended an ear cytology for your pet and you wonder exactly what that means??
Check out this little reel we put together today when Dolly came in for an ear infection!
The first step is collecting debris from the ear with a cotton swab.
We then roll that debris onto a glass microscope slide, we heat fix it with a lighter to adhere the sample to the slide, wipe the bottom of the slide clean again and then dip the slide into our Diff-Quik stain set!
Once the slide is stained, we allow it to dry before finally looking at the sample under the microscope!
This allows us to diagnose whether the ear infection is bacterial or yeast which guides us in making our best treatment plan for each pet!

🟢 Last week, our team was excited to see this panther Chameleon named Rain!
🟢 Panther chameleons are native to Madagascar's rainforests and their tongues can launch up to twice their body length to catch bugs! 🤯🐛
