SHE DID IT. 🤍🍊

Two years ago, a tiny orange kitten came into KFM Rescue needing someone to believe in her.

Today, Scarlett is home.

There were moments when I wondered if her turn would ever come. I watched kitten after kitten find their families while Scarlett patiently waited. She grew up in rescue, made friends, found comfort in the routine, and quietly kept hoping that one day someone would choose her.

And they finally did. 🧡

Looking back at that tiny little face and seeing the beautiful, girl she’s become is one of those reminders that rescue is worth every hard day. Sometimes the perfect home takes a little longer to find.

Happy Adoption Day, Scarlett. May your days be filled with sunny windows, endless naps, and a family who loves you exactly as much as you deserve.

🧡 GOOSE IS READY FOR HIS FOREVER HOME 🧡

It feels like just yesterday, Goose was the tiny kitten found lying in the middle of a store parking lot. One quick shopping trip turned into a rescue mission, and thankfully, this little guy got the second chance he deserved.

Now Goose is 4 months old, fully vetted, and ready to find a family of his own. 🐾

This sweet boy absolutely lives up to his name. He’s silly, playful, curious, and full of that classic orange cat personality. Whether he’s chasing toys, exploring every corner of the room, or making you laugh with his goofy antics, Goose knows how to keep life interesting.

He’s the kind of kitten who would thrive in just about any household and bring endless entertainment and love to his future family. 🤍

🎀 Meet Heidi & Ginger! 🎀

These adorable sisters are two of KFM Rescue’s newest little faces, and we are already completely smitten. 🤍

Heidi, our gorgeous tortie girl, and Ginger, our beautiful calico sister, are 3.5 months old and everything you could want in a pair of kittens: playful, curious, affectionate, and always ready to turn ordinary moments into an adventure.

The sisters were rescued together from a local colony and have been taking foster life in stride. From chasing toys to wrestling with each other to curling up together for a nap, these girls are making the most of kittenhood.

While they’re not quite ready for adoption yet, they should be available next month once they finish up their vetting. Until then, they’ll be busy growing, playing, and keeping us entertained with all the chaos and cuteness that comes with raising kittens.

Whether she’s stretched across the windowsill soaking up the sunshine, following her favorite people around the house, or showing off her silly little personality, Abigail is happiest when she’s part of the fun.

This sweet girl has a way of making everyday moments feel special. She’s social, curious, and always wants to know what you’re up to. Not because she’s needy, she just genuinely enjoys being around her people and her feline friends.

Abigail would love a home where she can spend her days chasing sunbeams, watching birds, lounging with another cat companion, and being someone’s quiet little sidekick through all of life’s adventures.

🚨 EMERGENCY FOOD REQUEST 🚨

This is it.

The food left in this tub is all I have remaining for my feral cat colonies. No backup bags are waiting in storage. No extra food tucked away for later.

During the summer months, the colonies eat significantly more, and every day that tray gets emptied by hungry cats who depend on me to show up.

And it’s not just the colonies.

I also only have one bag of Cat Chow left for my 13 adult foster cats.

Kitten season is already one of the hardest times of year for rescue. Between the kittens, the adult fosters, and the community cats I care for every day, food disappears faster than I can replace it.

All the cats that count on me don’t know supplies are running low; they know that every day someone brings food.

I’m asking for help before I run out.

Two years of waiting.
Two years of watching other cats find their families.
Two years of being overlooked.

And somehow, Scarlett still greets each day with her sweet little orange-cat charm. 🧡

Scarlett isn’t the loudest cat in the room. She has her own special way of being social. She enjoys being around people, loves the companionship of other cats, and is happiest when she’s included in everyday moments.

She’s the kind of girl who quietly becomes part of your routine. The cat you’ll find nearby while you’re making dinner, working from home, or relaxing at the end of the day.

At just over 2 years old, Scarlett has officially spent nearly her entire life in rescue. While she’s loved here, it’s long past time for her to have a family of her own.

Because behind those beautiful green eyes is a cat who deserves more than waiting. She deserves a home. 🏡✨

Some cats come into your life and immediately leave a mark on your heart.

Ophelia is one of those cats.

She came into rescue as a tiny kitten with challenges most cats will never face, but she has never let them define her. She doesn’t know she’s different. She doesn’t know she’s “special needs.”

She knows she loves toys, snacks, attention, and being wherever her people are. 🤍

Every day, she reminds me that happiness isn’t about having a perfect life, it’s about making the most of the one you have.

Yes, she wears diapers. Yes, she needs a little extra care. But what I see when I look at Ophelia isn’t her disability.

I see a silly, loving, resilient little girl who deserves a family willing to see her the same way.

And I know that somewhere out there is a person who will look at Ophelia and say, “I knew it. I knew you were meant to be mine.” ✨

A little witchy. A little mysterious. Perfectly content avoiding unnecessary drama.

Named after one of the Halliwell sisters from Charmed, Prue has all the classic black cat familiar energy. She’s the quiet presence in the room, the one watching from a cozy corner, taking everything in with those golden eyes.

At just over a year old, Prue has grown into the definition of a chill cat. She doesn’t care much for chaos or constant activity. What she does love is a peaceful routine, a comfortable place to nap, and a home where she can simply exist alongside her people.

She’s the perfect companion for someone who prefers cozy nights at home, starts thinking about Halloween in June, and understands that not every cat needs to be the life of the party to be special. 🎃🍂

Some cats are fireworks.

Prue is candlelight. 🕯️🖤
