Hello! My name is Trooper!

I am a 7 year old male beagle mix. I love getting attention and spending time with people! I can be playful but I’d rather spend time with people at get love. I love to go on walks! I will sniff everything I can! Unfortunately I am severely overweight and am on a prescription weight loss diet. I also have bad separation anxiety. I am on medication to help with my anxiety. I would do best in a house where people are home most of the time. I am a lot calmer when I am around people! So far I have gotten along with some of the other dogs here at MHS.

Due to my high anxiety, I am in URGENT need of a foster home or adoption!!

I am a very sweet boy and I can’t wait to find my new home! Please come visit me at the shelter!

🐾 Hi everyone! My name is Echo! 🐾

I’m a sweet pup who recently arrived at Mesabi Humane Society with a little puppy friend. When we came in, we both had worms, but thankfully, we’ve received treatment and are on the road to feeling better! ❤️

Unfortunately, I have another hurdle to overcome. I have a mass under the skin on my neck that needs to be surgically removed and sent to a pathology lab for a biopsy. The biopsy will help determine whether the mass is cancerous or something I don’t need to worry about.

Between the surgery, anesthesia, and pathology costs, my medical care is going to be pretty expensive. 💔

If you’re able to help with a donation toward my surgery and medical care, I would be incredibly grateful! Every dollar helps give me the best chance at a healthy, happy future. 🐶❤️

Hello! My name is Maynard!

I am a male 5 year old mixed breed. I was SUPER shy and scared when I was brought to the shelter but I have really come out of my shell. I love to be outside! Whether I’m going for a walk or just hanging out in the yard, I’m happy. I have gotten along with some of the other dogs at the shelter! I am very affectionate and love getting attention! I am a really picky eater but I would probably do well with free-feeding. I keep my kennel clean! I’m not very toy motivated but that could change once I’m in a home and feel comfortable.

Broozer is off his stray hold and ready for his new home!!

Hello! My name is Broozer!

You may have seen some posts about me a little bit ago. I was the dog that was left in the small pet carrier between Townline road and Hwy 11 near Cherry. Some nice people noticed me and brought me to the Mesabi Humane Society. I am a 3 year old male mixed breed. I was very shy and scared at first but I have really started to come out of my shell! I LOVE to go outside and sniff EVERYTHING! I’m not toy motivated right now, but in the right home, I might feel more comfortable to play. Going for walks is my favorite thing to do! I am a lap dog! If you sit, I want to sit on your lap and give you kisses! I also love to get belly rubs! I keep my kennel clean. I need to lose a little bit more weight but have made some good progress already. I have been vet checked and am up to date on my vaccinations.
