HOME AND WITH HER FAMILY! Thank you, everyone! - Lost Dog Alert! Newly adopted Molly/Luna got away from her person this afternoon along 2nd Avenue by our parking lot. Our staff has been out in waves all afternoon helping to search for her. Please contact Deb at Mesabi Humane Society 218-741-7425 or Charlie's Rescue 218-994-4692 for sightings or if you have her.

She has been spotted multiple times around Pepelnjak Southside Park but the woods makes visibility difficult. We appreciate any help!

One of the things we wanted to include in Recipes for Rescues was something bigger than ourselves.

Animal welfare takes a community.

This cookbook features a special Community Resources section highlighting 6 local animal rescues — because there are so many organizations doing important work, and we believe in supporting one another along the way.

We may each have our own stories, challenges, and animals counting on us, but we don’t have to do this work alone.

When we share resources, introduce people to organizations they may not know about, and lift each other up, we create a stronger network of support for animals in need.

Six local rescues. One community. Countless animals who need us.

Together, we can do more. ❤️
