It is with a heavy heart that I announce the closure of The Barking Barber. I have made the difficult decision to step back from grooming in an effort to focus on improving my health and recovering fully from injuries. I suffer from several chronic illnesses that have been getting more difficult to safely manage over the past months, and with the addition of the injury to my hand and wrist, keeping my doors open simply isn’t sustainable right now. And it is not fair to you, my clients, to keep you waiting and guessing as I try to navigate recovering. My ultimate goal in this is to be able to return to grooming and reopen my doors in the future, but until then, it has been an absolute honor to have spent these years loving your pups.

Hi friends - quick update:

Sadly, I fractured my wrist over the weekend, and will be out of work for the next 4 weeks 😢

I have sent out a text notifying everyone as well, and will also be reaching out to those who had a groom booked with me to reschedule once I have a better idea of when my official return date will be.

I appreciate everyone’s kindness and understanding during this time.
