Bay Beach Veterinary Emergency Hospital was founded in 2017 to meet a growing need in southern Virginia Beach: accessible, high-quality emergency care for pets. Our roots in the community run deep, beginning in 1965 with our sister location, Bay Beach Veterinary Hospital, a long-standing general practice trusted by generations of local families. Built on that same foundation, our emergency team is here when it matters most, bringing steady hands, medical expertise, and calm support to pets and the people who love them. We specialize in emergency and urgent vet care—day or night, 365 days a year. From trauma and toxin ingestion to sudden illness, we’re prepared for the unexpected. When your pet needs help, we’re just a phone call away.
