Wednesday night, we learned about the heartbreaking passing of one of our own. Since then, we’ve just been trying to show up—for our patients, and for each other

Emergency vet med has a way of making coworkers family. You spend holidays, weekends, crazy cases, heartbreaking moments, way too much caffeine, and so much of your life together. And when you lose one of your own, you feel it everywhere.

To our community—thank you. Thank you for crying with us, feeding us, checking on us, sending love, and sharing your memories of our girl. We have felt every bit of it.

She would have turned 33 today. 💔

So today we’re raising a Red Bull in her honor. We promise to keep talking about her, laughing about the things only she would do, like talking about Mt. Everest.

Today is Rainbow Bridge Remebrance day. A day to honor and remember the beloved pets who have passed away but left permanent paw prints on our hearts. 🐾

We all know emergency medicine can be heavy. We meet families on some of their hardest days, and we often have the privilege of caring for their pets during their final moments. Those patients stay with us, too.
