At Abbey Animal Hospital, our team is more than coworkers. We're a family. ❤️

And our veterinary technician and tech students are such an important part of that family.

They work hard, laugh with us, cry with us, celebrate with us, and somehow manage to keep us all moving forward through the busiest days.

Most importantly, they show up every day for our patients—with compassion, patience, and an incredible amount of love.

We are so thankful for each of you and everything you bring to our hospital.

Happy Vet Tech Week! 🐾

Thank you for being such an important part of the Abbey family. ❤️

Veterinary technicians don't work out at the gym.

They wrestle cats. 🐱

They carry 80-pound dogs.

They hold squirmy puppies.

They chase escaped patients.

They climb under tables.

They run from one end of the hospital to the other approximately 900 times a day.

Basically, they have their own fitness program.

Happy Vet Tech Week!

Behind every happy tail, purr, successful surgery, sleepy patient, and relieved pet parent is a veterinary technician who probably did about 47 things to make it happen. 🐾😂

A Little Lunch Love for Our Veterinary Staff

Our amazing veterinary team was treated to a delicious lunch from Vertical Vet in celebration of Veterinary Technician Week! 💙

Our tech and tech students spend their days caring for patients, comforting worried pet parents, assisting our doctors, and somehow keeping everything moving—even on the craziest days. They truly deserve all the appreciation (and all the pasta! 😂🍝).

A HUGE thank you to Vertical Vet for helping us spoil our incredible team! And to our tech and tech students: we appreciate you more than you know! 🥹🐾💙

🐾💙 HAPPY VETERINARY TECHNICIAN WEEK! 💙🐾

This week, we’re celebrating the incredible veterinary technician Kathy and our tech students who make Abbey Animal Hospital what it is!

Our techs are the ones holding paws, calming nervous patients, drawing blood, placing catheters, monitoring anesthesia, assisting with surgery, answering questions, cleaning up messes (SO many messes 😂), comforting worried pets AND their people, and somehow keeping everything moving when the day gets absolutely crazy.

They do so much behind the scenes that often goes unnoticed—but we see it, and we appreciate it more than words can say. ❤️

Thank you for your compassion, your knowledge, your patience, your dedication, and for loving our patients like they’re your own.

Happy Vet Tech Week to our amazing tech team! 🐶🐱🐾

You are truly the heartbeat of our hospital. 💙
