👑🐾 Princess Ivory Has Entered the Building! 🐾👑

Ivory, a beautiful 6-year-old Yorkshire Terrier, stopped by for a visit yesterday and instantly stole the spotlight! ✨

Brandon, one of our veterinary assistants, had the honor of spending some time with this little princess, but we have to admit—it was hard not to be distracted by all of her fabulous accessories. From her elegant outfit to her perfectly polished look, Ivory arrived in style and made sure everyone knew it. 💖🎀

She brought plenty of charm, personality, and princess energy to the hospital, and we were delighted to roll out the royal treatment for such a special guest. 👑🐶

Thank you for brightening our day, Ivory! We can’t wait to see you again. 💕

🇺🇸🐾 Memorial Day 🐾🇺🇸

In honor of Memorial Day, Courthouse Veterinary Hospital will be closed on Monday, May 25. We will reopen on Tuesday, May 26 for our regular business hours.

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage and service will never be forgotten. ❤️🤍💙

We thank all who have served and wish everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.

🐾✨ Handsome Patient Spotlight: Koda ✨🐾

We had the pleasure of caring for Koda during his technician appointment today, and this handsome boy definitely turned heads around the hospital! 🐶💙

From his stunning merle coloring to the expressive look he gave us, Koda had the whole team impressed from the moment he walked through the door. He was sweet, curious, and soaking up all the attention like a total pro. Safe to say, he made quite the impression on everyone he met! ✨

We love getting to care for amazing pups like Koda and watching their personalities shine during every visit. 🦴💕

Oreo brought the smiles today! 🐾🤍🖤

This sweet 4-year-old Shih Tzu came to see Dr. Thomas for a visit today and quickly became the center of attention 💕

Oreo made new friends with Shannon, our LVT student, and Nesia, veterinary assistant, and the smiles were nonstop from start to finish 😊🐶

We love moments like these and the amazing bonds made with our patients every single day! ✨

TICK TALK‼️🕷️

Ticks aren’t just a summer problem—here in Virginia, they’re active year-round. That means protecting your pets (and yourself!) is always in season.

After spending time outdoors, make it a habit to check your pet thoroughly—especially around the ears, neck, between toes, and under collars. And don’t forget to check yourself too! 👀

Say hi to Stevie! 🐾💖
This fabulous 5-year-old girl stopped by to visit our technical team today for her vaccine boosters—and she did not come to play when it comes to style! 💅✨

With her perfectly done eyebrows and a touch of blush, Stevie knows it’s important to look your best no matter where you go… even the vet! 😉

She was an absolute sweetheart and handled her visit like a total pro. We loved having you today, beautiful! 💕

🐾💛 Patient Spotlight: Charlie Brown 💛🐾

Charlie Brown, our adorable 5-year-old Cavalier King Charles mix, came in today for a recheck with Dr. Watson—and he made sure it was a visit to remember! 🐶✨

This sweet boy came armed with plenty of kisses 😘 and happily accepted all the treats Dr. Watson had to offer (we think he may have negotiated for extras!). His gentle personality and loving nature make him an absolute favorite around here.

Safe to say… Charlie Brown is definitely a keeper. 💙
