Joette Kennel Joette kennel is a family owned boarding and grooming facility dedicated to providing a “home away from home” for your fur babies. We love all breeds of dogs.

Our mission is to treat every pup like our own and every owner with respectful, transparent service. We are located 1/2 mile northwest of Lowder. Joette Kennel is a family-owned business, with the owners living on the property. We have a very caring and dedicated staff that all have the same thing in common--a strong love for animals. The kennel was established for our passion of making sure dogs are taken care of while their owners are away. We want to be your dog's home away from home. We will love and care for your dogs just as we do our own, because we know how much they are considered as part of the family. We have spacious kennels for your dog, and even bigger ones if you have more than one dog. We have two large and secure fenced yards for your dog(s) to play in a few times each day. If your dog is a little shy of others, we even have a separate room just for him/her to stay in to feel comfortable! All the kennels are air conditioned in the summer, and heated in the winter. We are always guaranteed to have room for your pet, no matter what the occasion may be. We always look forward to seeing your pet(s), and new faces are always welcome! For more information or to make reservations, feel free to contact us at 217-204-1784

“What is the Perfect Sendoff Package and why is it highly recommended?” We’re so glad you asked! If there’s one thing we’ve learned at Joette Kennel, it’s that there’s no better way to end your pup’s vacation than with a little extra pampering before heading home! Our Perfect Sendoff Package is a fantastic bath package that we highly recommend adding to your pup’s boarding reservation! After a fun-filled stay full of playtime, new friends, and plenty of adventures, your pup deserves a little time to relax and be pampered before reuniting with you. 🐶✨

🐾 What’s included?
🫧 A refreshing bath with premium shampoo and conditioner
🧴 A nice blow-dry to get them all fluffed up
🌸 A spritz of doggy cologne to leave them smelling fresh
🎀 An adorable bandana to complete their fresh, clean look!

We want your pup’s stay with us to be more than just boarding. We want it to be a little vacation of their own, and what better way to wrap up their getaway than with a calm, relaxing pampering session before heading home? 🥰 Ask us about adding our Perfect Sendoff Package to your pup’s next reservation! Trust us, those fresh puppy snuggles are SO worth it! 🛁🐾

To some, this might look like just an ordinary, everyday coffee… but today, it means so much more than that. 🥹☕️ This morning, one of our new customers brought this in as a thank-you for working with them through a few unexpected difficulties. Something so simple, yet something that truly touched our hearts. At Joette Kennel, we understand that life happens, plans don’t always go as expected, and sometimes a little extra patience and understanding can make all the difference. We never expect anything in return for simply doing our best to help our clients and their pups, which makes little gestures like this feel that much more special. 🐾 It’s not about the coffee itself. It’s about the thought behind it, the appreciation, and the reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness can make someone’s entire day a little brighter. ☀️ To Jonesy and her family, thank you for thinking of us and for such a sweet gesture! You may have brought us coffee, but you gave us something even better — a reminder of why kindness, compassion, and understanding matter so much. 🤎

Never underestimate the power of a small act of kindness. Sometimes, it means more than you could ever imagine. 🐾☕️✨
