Coming tomorrow, these will be my final three dogs.... and while I'm very excited to allow them to be full time house dogs again (5+ dogs plus 2-3 young kids over the last 6 years didn't really allow for them to be full time house dogs), I'm very sad to have officially closed my breeding program chapter.

This weekend, we will begin renovations on their "dog kennel room" to transition it back into a bedroom for our youngest, our daughter. Repairing walls where we've screwed in cabinets and waterproof wall paneling, replacing the water proof flooring to match the flooring in the main part of our home, and a nearly complete overhaul of the bathroom (its a second smaller master bedroom with a very small bathroom attached).

I know this is needed for my family and how my kids are growing, but that doesn't take away the sadness.

But, I'm sure Maggie, Marshall (our original 2 we moved here with) and Teeter are all going to enjoy their new way of life! And I'm absolutely POSITIVE that our boys are going to be so happy to be back in their own rooms again 😅
Truth be told, so are we. Maybe the bickering will subside at least a little when they have their own spaces to escape the other.... I hope....

Struggling a bit today with coming to terms that after tomorrow morning... I'll no longer get to love on these two boys or lay eyes on their beautiful selves 🥺

Atlas and Finn have both found their new homes and will actually be traveling together to Illinois tomorrow. They won't be living together, but I believe they will get to hang out from time to time, or at least I hope they do. Finn will actually be going to live with one of his own sons from his litter with Winnie in Spring '25. He has officially been retired from being a producer as of a couple of days ago and has been recovering well.

Teeter was also officially retired on the same day as Finn, so for the first time in quite a few years, I have no more intact dogs.... she is also recovering quite well.

I'm sad for myself to be sending these boys off, but I'm excited for them and their new families and what they will get to experience together.

OK everybody. Please understand that this decision and this post is not made lightly or without a lot of discussion and decision making.

The decision to offer up these two adult dogs is not an easy one, but with our current season of life, it is a necessary one.

We are offering up Finn(red merle) and Atlas (black tri) to new homes.

Finn is our current intact red merle male. He is for sale, not on sale. He is a April 2023 born dog who is proven as a producer. 100% genetically clear with all his proper testing as well as his OFAs. AKC and ASDR registered. He is kennel and house trained bit not kept in the house consistently. Knows how to use a doggie door. He is a water lover and an active boy. Easy to manage coat (which I love) and as a producer, he obviously produces incredible pups with incredible color varieties. I'd love to see him to go another program to be used, as I LOVE what he has provided for our program and just know he won elevate any program. If he goes to a pet home, thats totally fine as well, and he will be neutered before he leaves my property.

Atlas is a November 2020 Male who is retired and no longer intact. He is a goofy guy who loves to make us laugh. He is also a water lover! He is kennel, house, and doggie door trained. If he can be a couch potato with you, he would be in doggie heaven. He is heavy coated, so decent maintenance is required for grooming, but he is an easy groom. He very rarely mats and sheds out super easy. This decision is a hard one, my hands are shaking while I'm typing this, as I adore Atlas, but unfortunately we need to downsize our adult dogs. Atlas is AKC and also has all his genetic testing and is 100% clear. There will be a rehoming fee.

I'm hoping to get some new pictures of them this week or weekend and post new updated pictures of them, but these pictures are great representations of them as they are.

And just like that... our last puppy has left the premisis.... on one hand I'm relieved to have that added task to my day gone... on the other hand I'm incredibly sad to be closing this chapter of my breeding program.

Murphy is headed to his home with his full sibling big brother from our last litter and is remaining in Arkansas! Enjoy this crazy boy!! He's such a joy!
