School.

🤎 Most people know us from the livestock show ring… but that’s only part of our story.

Today, Ray Jr. had the opportunity to work alongside JLA Farms LLC. at the Annual LQHBA Horse Sale, gaining hands-on experience and learning another side of the horse industry.

Every opportunity is a chance to learn, grow, and build character. Whether it’s in the barn, the show ring, or behind the scenes at a horse sale, we’re grateful for experiences like these that continue to shape these boys into hardworking young men.

A special thank you to JLA Farms for giving Ray the opportunity to be part of the sale and learn from your team. We truly appreciate the experience. 🐎🤎

POV: The boys asked Mom to be the judge… 🤠🐂

Now it’s Junior’s turn.

Practice isn’t about proving who’s the best. It’s about finding the little things that can make you better.

Today, I stepped into the role of the judge, watching every detail while offering feedback along the way. Around here, everyone gets coached, everyone gets corrected, and everyone is expected to keep learning.

Because being a great showman is about more than showing an animal. It’s about knowing your animal, caring for it, accepting correction, and always striving to improve.

Practice is a mix of learning, mistakes, hard work, seriousness… and plenty of laughter. 🤎
