STAFF SPOTLIGHT!

Meet Brittany!

Brittany joined Mirror Lake in February of this year, and brings almost eight years of experience as a veterinary assistant to the team. She is currently enrolled with Purdue University’s online veterinary nursing program with the hope of becoming a licensed technician within the next couple of years. One of Brittany’s favorite things about working in veterinary medicine is helping clients prepare for their new puppy or kitten family members. She is also a certified and proud Crazy Cat Lady, so feel free to show her pictures of your whiskered furbabies at your next appointment! In her free time, Brittany loves visiting new aquariums and zoos when travelling with her family, reading, and horseback riding.

Meet Kassi!

Kassi has been working in the veterinary field for five years and has been with Mirror Lake Animal Hospital since 2022. She enjoys welcoming clients and their pets, making sure each visit feels comfortable and positive. Outside of work, Kassi enjoys spending her time training with her dog and spending quality time with her husband and other pets.

Meet Shannon!

Shannon joined Mirror Lake Animal Hospital in March of this year as one of our receptionists. She brings experience from different backgrounds, such as customer service roles and various aspects of pharmacy. Shannon has always been passionate about animals and caring for them in her personal life. Growing up, she and her family owned dogs, cats, a horse, and chickens. One of Shannon’s favorite things about working in veterinary medicine is learning new things from the doctors and technicians and being a part of the team that takes such great care of these pets! Shannon enjoys spending time watching her son play baseball, reading, and crafting!

Meet Ella!

Ella joined Mirror Lake in November of 2024 and works as a veterinary assistant. Ella has a passion for every animal, small and large, but what she loves most is cats and puppies. One of Ella’s favorite things about working in veterinary medicine is just being able to love and cuddle every four-legged creature that comes through the doors. In her free time she enjoys spoiling her three cats, reading, and spending time outdoors.
