Peace for Pits, Inc. We are a Chicago area 501(c)3, rescue group that focuses on finding loving, caring homes for “bully” breeds in need of help.

Many of these dogs come from Chicago arriving as a stray or being surrendered by their so called “owners.”

Adoptable Rhea was awesome at her vet visit 😀. She’s estimated to be 2-3 years old and weighs 55 lbs. She received a clean bill of health minus some seasonal allergies that apoquel is helping with. Her foster said she was so well behaved sitting in the full waiting room. She's a little excited with the leash at first but once you take a few steps she relaxes and walks with you. She’s also great in the car. On her ride there she started off laying in the back seat & then came up and rode shotgun with her head out the window!

P.S. She loves to play ball 🎾

This is Rhea! She's potty and crate trained. We’re not sure on her age but she she’ll be going for vetting next week so we will learn more then. She loves to play ball and chew bones. She even brings the ball back and places it in your hand! We’ve made an Amazon wish list for Rhea so she can learn, play, and call her own after a life in the streets. Thank you for your kindness!
