🇺🇸 We Remember — September 11, 2001 🇺🇸

Today, we pause to remember a day that forever changed our nation.

We honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the brave first responders who ran toward danger when others were running away, and the countless men and women whose courage, sacrifice, and service carried our country through unimaginable heartbreak.

As a veterinary family, we also remember the canine heroes who answered the call. Hundreds of search-and-rescue, recovery, therapy, and service dogs worked alongside their handlers at Ground Zero and other affected sites—searching through the rubble, offering comfort, and serving faithfully in the days and months that followed.

Some wore uniforms.
Some wore collars.
All served with courage.

May we never forget those we lost, those who responded, those who served, and the families whose lives were forever changed.

September 11, 2001
We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸🐾

If you’ve been to our office in the last year, then you have probably seen a little black and white menace running around or have hear someone yell “Arti!” and then see said menace running around past the exam room door like he wasn’t doing anything wrong to be yelled at…well Arti is our clinic kitty who Dr. MaArthur rescued from the road on 280 one day and is girls convinced him that he needed to become a AAC permanent resident…some days Dr. Mc probably regrets it, but he can’t do anything about it now. 😁 below is our wonderful “office menace” Arti who was making sure our lab machine was running correctly this morning.
