Katie’s been a busy bee 🐝

Shes full of personality and bleeds so much potential. She’s just taking everything in and being so honest. Her first set of lamberfeeties, first set of trails, first time at Triple H performance horses. Everything just 🙌🏼 Shes teaching Whiskey how to be a good standing citizen at the trailer and all.

He’s such a fun ride!! He could use a little tune up in the arena but seriously a beginner could ride if they new the fundamentals •stopping •turning •pull back to slow down •he’s really forgiving

The girls hauled like champs yesterday, and I couldn’t be more proud of them. They were outstanding students. Stood tied patiently, handled being separated without a fuss, and loaded and reloaded like a couple of seasoned professionals.

Days like these remind me that all the time spent building confidence, consistency, and trust is worth it. Watching them grow and handle new situations with such maturity makes all the hard work worthwhile.

They say if you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.

Miss Liv taking a trail ride. No spook or bother she was just one happy girl to see the property. Were playing with bits and hacks I just haven’t found something I love the way she responds to just yet. Tell ya what halter and lead home girl is happy all day long but we can’t show like that lol so back to the drawing board.

Katie’s first ride under saddle, and I was very happy with how it went.

We spent a lot of time focusing on the groundwork first, making sure she felt confident, relaxed, and understood what was being asked before moving forward. There are still a few things on the ground I want to revisit and continue improving, but that’s all part of the process.

Today was about keeping things quiet, positive, and productive while letting her think through everything. She handled herself well, stayed willing, and gave me her all.

Progress isn’t about rushing it’s about building confidence one ride at a time. Looking forward to continuing her journey and seeing her grow with each ride. ✨
