Ear infections are one of the most common things we treat in dogs. Signs to watch for include:
• Excessive scratching
• Head tilting or shaking
• Smelly ears
• Redness or discharge
• Pain when ears are touched

Happy National Heat Awareness Day ☀️🐾

While this pup is cooling off in the pool, it’s a good reminder that heat can become dangerous for dogs very quickly.

Watch for signs of overheating:
• Excessive panting
• Drooling
• Lethargy
• Vomiting

Always provide plenty of water, shade, and breaks from the heat—and remember, if it’s hot for you, it’s even hotter for them. When in doubt, cool them down and call us right away.
