🐾 An important update from Advanced Vet Care
We want to keep our clients informed about a few cases of upper respiratory infection that have been seen in the community. We have seen affected dogs that have attended grooming facilities and dog parks, and we have now had a few cases associated with daycare as well.
The good news is that we currently do not have any dogs boarding in our clinic showing respiratory symptoms. We are taking every precaution we can to help prevent the spread and keep our patients safe.
As an added precaution, we will be pausing daycare and bath drop-offs from September 4–13, with the exception of existing reservations. During this time, we will have several boarding dogs for the Labor Day holiday and will use the following days to thoroughly deep clean and sanitize our facilities.
🐶 We plan to reopen daycare and bath drop-offs on September 14.
In the meantime, please do not bring your dog for daycare or boarding if they are showing signs of illness, including:
• Coughing
• Nasal discharge
• Sneezing
• Other respiratory symptoms
We know this wasn't an easy decision, and we are going to miss our regular daycare crew very much! ❤️ But at Advanced Vet Care, your pets' health and safety are always our top priority.
Thank you for your understanding and for helping us protect all of the pets in our community. 🐾
