Kate Campbell VMD Kate Campbell VMD is a private practice launched in 2023 offering acupuncture and locum coverage. She is also a Fear Free Certified Practitioner.

Dr. Kate Campbell is an experienced clinician offering high-quality compassionate veterinary care in small animal practice. Kate graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. She has worked in Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital's Radiology Department, for racetrack practitioner Larry Caudill DVM, and as a Veterinarian and Chief of Staff for Banfield Pet Hospital.

She spent five years providing high quality medicine, surgery, and emergency treatment at VCA Woodford Animal Hospital, a busy practice in Versailles, Kentucky, before the demands of a young family led her in search of a more flexible work schedule. Kate completed a Mixed Animal Acupuncture Certification course at Florida's Chi University and has incorporated Eastern medicine in to her practice since 2015.

Teddy Love Chunk came to me with back pain and weakness in his hind end. Since starting treatment, he has shown significant improvement and continues to get stronger and more comfortable. Even cats can benefit from acupuncture!! Layla is an older cat that was declawed prior to
adoption. She subsequently has significant osteoarthritis and pain getting around. Her pain meds are becoming less effective so we did some acupuncture today and she LOVED it. She was purring the entire time and was so relaxed after.

Molly Dot attended her follow-up appointment today as part of her treatment for hind end weakness and f***l incontinence. She has ceased experiencing accidents in the house and has been actively engaging in outdoor activities such as running in the snow. The needles are concealed by her thick coat, and she appears to be entirely unfazed by their presence.
