Day 6 Taxidermy is a full time taxidermy studio located in South Eastern Indiana, where Quality, Detail, and Realism are our top priorities. We specialize in Whitetails, Game Heads, and Fur bearing Mammals... We take in a limited number of pieces each year to be able keep our turnaround on all pieces at 12 months or less, typically averaging 6-10 months turnaround on all pieces. We use high quality products and do all tanning in house to have complete control over the quality of your mount. Abel Everage / Mammals
Jena Everage / Whitetails and Gameheads

Where did Day 6 Taxidermy get its name? In Genesis the first chapter, verses 24 and 25, God created the animals of the land on the sixth day of creation.

” And God said, let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and everything that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: And saw that it was good.” – Genesis 1 : 24 – 25 – KJV

Well it’s that time of year again, I hope opening day has treated you all well so far…I am completely full for the year and only have about 5 spots left for Whitetails that are saved/claimed for my current/regular clients, once I fill those last spots I won’t be taking anymore until October 2026. I usually post a little earlier for a heads up that I’m getting close but it happened so quick this year that I didn’t get a chance.

For those who have already talked with me and have an appointment to drop off or I have confirmed your spot, you have your spot so no worries there.

Thanks again everyone and I hope you all have a great rest of the season!

Thanks, Jena
