🎉🐾 FOUR YEARS of K-9 Tails of Success! 🐾🎉

On October 10, 2022 I took a chance on myself and a dream. Today, I’m celebrating four years of a business that has become such a huge part of my heart and my life 🥹💙

I started K-9 Tails of Success because I wanted to help dogs and their people build stronger relationships. Looking back today I think about the families who have welcomed me into their homes, the dogs who have taught me something new, and the moments that remind me exactly why I chose this work.

The first walk that finally feels enjoyable. The proud “look what my dog did!” message (literally warms my heart every time). The owner who feels more confident and the dog who’s learning to feel comfortable in the world. Those moments mean so much to me because I know the patience, practice, and commitment behind them 🐶🫶🏻

This business has also opened doors to serving animals in ways I never imagined when I started. It led me to becoming a board member of the Ripley County Humane Society and Vice President of Ripley C.A.R.E. Inc. Big roles that mean so much to me. Getting to support animals in need and work alongside others who care deeply about our community has become such a meaningful part of this journey. 💙

Behind this business is one woman wearing every hat… There have been long days, hard lessons, and plenty of growing pains, but there is so much here to be proud of. Today I’m letting myself pause and appreciate that.

To my clients, past and present, thank you for trusting me with your dogs & their lives and allowing me to be part of your lives. Thank you for showing up, putting in the work, and celebrating the progress along the way.

And to everyone who has recommended me, shared a post, left a review, or encouraged me when I needed it, you’ve helped this little business grow. Your support has never gone unnoticed. 💙

Taking a moment in between appointments to give a little reminder about messages and response times! 🐾📱

My typical response time is 24 - 48 hours, but here recently, it has been a little longer. I know, I know. How dare me? 😂 I was out of town this past weekend and took some time away from my phone (much needed screen time break haha), so I’m still catching up. Thank you for being patient with me! 🤍

I’ve also recently had a couple of Doggy Date Wedding Chaperone videos on TikTok reach 19,000+ views, which has brought more messages and inquiries my way! (I was not expecting that to happen! 🥹❤️) I’m grateful for the interest and support, and I’m doing my best to give EVERY SINGLE PERSON a thoughtful response.

As a one woman mobile business, I spend much of my day driving between appointments and working hands on with dogs and their families. Most days, I have 4 6 appointments lasting an hour or longer, so I’m not always able to check messages or respond right away.

Please know that a delayed response DOES NOT mean I don’t want to help you! Please don’t make assumptions like this. I want to be able to fully read your message, and give you my full attention when I respond. And, I always do.

You’re always welcome to send a friendly follow up if you think your message may have gotten missed! I just ask for a little patience and kindness while I balance training, travel, messages, and time with my own family. 🐶

I will be spending this evening responding to all messages, voicemails, emails, and I will be going through content as I know some clients are waiting on training videos!
