Pet of the Week: Mulberry! 🖤
4 months old, spayed female, black markings, short hair

This lil cutie is so dang sweet she'll give you a toothache (you're welcome dentists). She's 15% silky fluff and 15% giant eyeballs and 70% purrs. She just wants to snuggle all day every day. And y'all, the black kittens in a litter are almost always the last to go, which is so unfair because LOOK at her! She's just as cute and cuddly and entertaining and wonderful as any tabby or calico and we won't hear any arguments to the contrary. Mulberry would like you to buck the trend and give black cats a chance, because we guarantee if you spend a minute or two with her you're gonna be wondering how you ever got along without her.

Senior Sweetie Sunday! Meet Cyrus, an extremely handsome, extremely fluffy guy just looking for a quiet place to land 🩷

Cyrus is about 9 years old and a Great Pyrenees/husky mix - think closer to the size of a husky (65 lbs) but with maximum fluff and feet that seem too big for the rest of him. He needed medical care when he arrived, but he's all healed up, out of the cone, professionally groomed (big ups to Tiffany's Pet Spa!) and so ready to just chill out with someone he loves.

It takes Cyrus a little while to get used to people, and he's sensitive about touch until he's comfortable and trusts you. He doesn't growl or fuss; he doesn't seem fearful. He's just on alert and it comes off as aloof and avoidant. Cyrus doesn't have a mean bone in his body, and he is such a sweet, gentle soul, but because his first impression comes off as aloof, it's harder for him to get somebody to give him a chance.

So hey - give Cyrus a chance! What he really needs is calm, patience, and a good routine while his mind and body unwind. If you can do that for him, give us a call at 859-873-5491 and make an appointment to meet him.
