Meet Calla GBF: a beautiful, kind, and careful mare with the training, temperament, and presence to become someone’s next life long partner. With an impressive eventing record, experience through Second Level, and Small Horse Championship ribbons already to her name, she has the ability to take a confident AA or Junior toward exciting goals. Pony Cup neck ribbons in 2027 anyone?
Perfect ground manners, sweet and careful as the day is long, and absolutely loves to stand there and let you fuss over her all day. She is not mareish at all—and can we talk about how pretty she is?!
In her training, Calla has an impressive show record in eventing, but has decided that she would prefer a dressage-focused home. She has shown through Second Level with respectable scores. She also has aspects of Third Level started. This mare is a lateral queen and is very proficient in shoulder-in, haunches-in, and half pass. She would love to teach someone the ropes of these movements and continue developing up the levels with her person. She also hacks out well both alone and with others and enjoys getting out of the arena, making her a fun horse to have around for more than just training, but also as a friend and partner.
Calla is a forward-thinking, but safely so, mare who is sensitive and methodical in her work. She can take a joke, but would much rather have a tactful rider who takes their time and has the guidance of a trainer. She would be suitable for a confident AA or junior in a program looking for a talented horse to develop with. She is the type of horse who really rewards a rider who appreciates a sensitive, intelligent horse.
Calla is low maintenance in the barn, is currently stabled next to a gelding with no issues. She has front shoes, and no vices . She does all the good horse things; loading, hauling, bathing, handling dogs and kids running around the barn, tying, and farrier—with the grace and poise that you would expect from a horse with this look and resume.
Calla is priced attractively for a quick sale.
If you’re looking for a show stoping, beautiful mare with a great work ethic and the potential to be a true partner Calla could be the girl for you.
Serious inquiries welcome.
