Lois Lawrence, a founding member of Angel's Wish, once rescued a kitten from a construction site. Weak with starvation, dehydration, and a severe upper respiratory infection, neither veterinary treatment nor Lois’ love and care could save the kitten from the effects of that hot June day. We believe that Angel's Wish would have been that no other animal be subjected to pain, suffering, abandonment or neglect.

🌼 We've WAIVED adoption fees for our Forget-Me-Nots this Labor Day weekend!

These are cats who have been with us a little longer than usual. Maybe they’re a bonded pair, are a bit shy, have a medical condition, or have simply fallen through the cracks week after week. Regardless, they’re all worthy of love and are just one person away from finding their forever home.

To make it easier for them, we’ve waived their adoption fees to help them find the perfect family. Apply for adoption, meet them, and if you fall in love, take them home right away.

Just some head scratches to bless your feed this Friday morning. ✨

Our “Dannie Boy” has a reputation for being everyone’s friend. He’s a gentle giant, always sweet and softly purring. If you’re lucky, he’ll even start a conversation with you, chirping and meowing his opinions. When he’s not around people, you can find him staring out the window on chipmunk watch duty, lying in the sun, or playing with a toy mouse.

We've learned that Dannie is FIV+, but cats with FIV can live long, happy, healthy lives with routine veterinary care and a loving home. FIV is most commonly spread through deep bite wounds, so with proper introductions, many FIV+ cats live peacefully with other friendly, non-aggressive cats. His adoption fee has been waived to help him find a loving and caring home as soon as possible.

🌟 We're feeling immense gratitude this , and adoptable kitty Harlequin is helping us share the good news for adopters! 🌟

A huge shoutout to Dr. Elsey's for another incredibly generous donation of cat litter to us! 🐾

In addition to a pallet of litter for our foster cats, they sent us free boxes of Dr. Elsey's Cat Attract so each adopting family at our Verona Adoption Center will receive one free box with a cat adoption until supplies run out!

Be sure to check out their website for great products to help promote good litterbox habits for your cat! We sell some of them at our retail store, too!

The only thing better than one kitten? Two kittens! 😻

PJ and Spanky are a lovely four-month-old kitty sibling duo who complement each other’s personalities perfectly—brother PJ takes the bold lead, while sister Spanky is the cautious explorer. PJ, the light ginger, is a bit nosy and always the first to try new toys and investigate anything new, and he's very loving and affectionate—he’ll never turn down a snuggle while making room for his sister. Tabby Spanky will take her time cautiously checking out new toys and is always ready to tackle PJ before taking a quick nap.

We all have a shy side and a bold side; why not adopt a kitty duo to balance both? These two will be at our Verona adoption events.
