This week we are celebrating all of our awesome Veterinary Technicians starting with Head Tech Caitlyn! Caitlyn started at MRVH as a kennel attendant before completing vet tech school in 2013. Caitlyn has been a familiar face at Middle River for many years now and continues to share her knowledge with all of our junior techs. The best part about working at MRVH for Caitlyn is helping clients navigate difficult discussions with a calm and clear environment. 3 y/o STANLEY is looking for a home!! This week only through Saturday, 10/17/26, we are 🍒WAIVING ADOPTION FEES🍒 thanks to the ASPCA!

Stanley is an adorable, silly guy who loves attention & affection. He loves kids and just wants to join in whatever fun they're having! He's also good with pups, but kitties are unknown!

Stanley has dual "cherry eyes" (swelling of the inner eye glands) which our non-profit partner Friends of Staunton Augusta Waynesboro Animal Shelter has generously agreed to fund, BUT we DO NOT want Stanley recovering from his surgeries in the shelter environment! Our top priority is simply getting him out of here in order to schedule to surgery! If you could FOSTER Stanley through this procedure, he would be eternally grateful!!!

If you've been approved to foster OR adopt already, PLEASE CONTACT US: 540.943.5142! Or fill out an adoption or foster application on our website!

Do you have a busy schedule? Having a hard time making an appointment for your pet that also works with you? We offer drop off appointments! Whether your pet needs an extended visit with lots of treatments or just updating their vaccines we can make it work! Drop off takes place between 7:30-8:30, the doctor will examine your pet before calling you to set up a pickup time and licensed vet technicians perform any treatments needed. Featured here were some recent drop offs, Jake (x-rays and update vaccines) and Mama Cats (bloodwork and exam)! Kitties enjoy the day in a cat specific room away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the clinic and get spoiled with Churu. Pups enjoy their own kennels separated by size (small dog & large/medium dogs) and an outdoor sniff zone! Call us to get scheduled or learn more!
