Now that we are home and somewhat back on track, we would like to say thank you to all of the people who made the Utah State Fair goat show possible. Especially Heather Garlick Healey for her endless work she puts into the fair every year. It was so nice to be able to connect with our goat friends and family. We had a very special end to our Fair with GCH Sand Stone Ridge AM Onyx winning best of breed and best udder of breed to then go on and win best doe in show and best udder in show for the second year running. What really made it special was her old herd mate Holly, who has been under Wee 3 Farms Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats care since we sold our nigerians going reserve to Onyx. It was so fun to see them side by side!

Hannah and Trafalgar went out of their 4H years with a bang! Hannah was Grand Champion showman and She and Trafalgar won best of breed LaMancha and Best Sr doe in show! Not a bad run for both of them and what a way to wrap up their 4H years. We are going to miss the Utah State Fair Youth show as both girls have aged out, but are happy to be able to cheer on a new group. Thank you to everyone who has made these past 12 years so special!

We are planning some projects on the farm, and in order to get them done we need to reduce our numbers. We are offering several very nice show quality does. These does are good producers with strong potential ahead of them. Some of them have already earned legs toward their permanent championship. Photos are included of all does that have been photographed before. If you would like to see photos of those listed below, please message. Link to pedigree below each doe.

Excluding the start to our week, we had a great state fair. The best part always being able to spend time with our friends. The girls and goats showed well and made me so proud once again. I think our poster explaining that we don't cut our goats ears off did reduce the number of questions in the barn as well as the dirty looks. Highlights of the show were Trafalgar going BDIS of the youth show, Ginger going best jr doe in show of the youth show, Swissmiss going Grand in 3 out if 4 rings finishing her championship, Ebony going grand in the other finishing her championship, and last but not least Onyx win BDIS in the state fair open show for the second time. We are excited to be home and settled with the goats. Looking forward to breeding season and next year's kids.

We had an intense trip on our way to the Utah State Fair yesterday. We had our truck start on fire in a remote area between Vernal and Salt Lake. We were very blessed to have a group of very kind people stop and help us. We were unable to salvage the truck, but all animals and people are safe and that is all that really matters. Thank you to all who helped us and worried about us. We are so very blessed to have such a loving group of friends, family, good Samaritans in our lives. Shout out to the volunteer fire fighters and truck drivers who helped us salvage what we could from a bad situation. So proud of Madee and Hannah who kept their cool and jumped into action. Of course we can't forget Matt, Mason and Lynne who came to our rescue. People truly are good and it is nice to be reminded of that.
