🎃🐾 The Fall Fun is here!!

But, let's keep our pets safe! 🍂🧡

Pumpkins, costumes, candy, cozy gatherings and Halloween treats make this time of year so much fun.
But, some of our favorite fall traditions can pose serious risks to our four-legged family members.

🚨 A few things to keep safely out of paw’s reach:
🍫 Chocolate & cocoa
🍬 Candy & sugar-free treats containing xylitol
🍇 Grapes & raisins
🌿 Certain plants & flowers, including lilies
🕯️ Candles, glow sticks & small decorations
🎀 Candy wrappers, ribbons and other small items that can cause choking or intestinal blockages

🐶🐱 A few simple tips can go a long way:

🎃Keep treats and candy secured away from curious noses
🎃Keep pets away from the door during trick-or-treating if they become stressed by visitors
🎃Be mindful of costumes and decorations they may chew or swallow
🎃Make sure pets have proper identification in case they slip out during the Halloween hustle and bustle

And remember:
IF you think your pet has eaten something potentially toxic, don’t wait for symptoms to appear.
Contact your veterinarian or a pet poison helpline right away. ❤️

We would like to announce we are a donation drop off location for a community donation drive to help gather supplies to support our local shelter animals while they wait for their future families.

We do have a bin to drop off your donated items in our front office and encourage you to help support this great project now until November 20th.

Hi everyone! 👋 We’re so excited to officially introduce Local Paws Project — a community-driven project created to help local animal shelters and the pets in their care. 🐶🐱❤️

Our first donation drive will run from October 1st through November 20th, collecting much-needed supplies for local shelters.

Every bag of food, toy, blanket, litter, and other donation can make a difference for an animal waiting for their forever home. 🏠🐾

This is just the beginning!!

Today is National Farmers Day 🌾🐄

We want to say thank you to farmers all over the world for their hard work and sacrifices to help feed America.

And of course today, of all days we are proud to say we are honored to serve the many farmers of the Uintah Basin in assisting with their livestock and family pets.

We also want to thank them for their dedication and loyalty to Countryside Vet . over the many years 🐖🐐

Puppy of the Month- September 🍁

Meet Kevin....

Kevin, affectionately known as Piggy, is a French Bulldog with a big personality packed into a very compact body. 🐷🐾

His favorite people are Grandma, Mum, and Dad, and his ideal evening consists of being cozied up with his family, enjoying snacks in front of the TV while watching The Office. Basically, Piggy has already mastered adulthood.

Piggy’s favorite things:
🐾 Grandma, Mum & Dad
🍿 Snacks, obviously
📺 Watching The Office
🛋️ Quality couch time with his people
❤️ Being included in absolutely everything

Piggy’s least favorite things:
🦴 Denta-Bones, which he considers a personal insult
🌙 Bedtime, because why should the fun ever end?
🤘 Death-metal screaming. Regular music is acceptable. Screaming into the abyss is not.

He’s goofy, opinionated, ridiculously lovable, and has very strong feelings about how his life should be conducted.

We absolutely adore our little Piggy and are so excited that Countryside Vet Clinic picked him as September’s Puppy of the Month! 🐷👑

We still have a few months of the year to get your canine entered & we then will be choosing our puppy of the year

Be sure to mention that you'd like to have your pup in the running for the puppy of the month so the receptionist & techs can be sure to snap a picture 📸🐾🐶
