🐾 Pet parents, watch out—foxtails are especially bad this year!

These little grass seeds can burrow into your dog's skin, ears, nose, eyes, or paws and cause painful infections.

After every walk, check:
• Between the toes and paw pads
• Inside the ears
• Around the eyes
• Under the belly, armpits, and tail
• Thick or fluffy fur, especially after hikes or parks

If your dog suddenly starts licking a paw, shaking their head, sneezing a lot, or seems uncomfortable, don't ignore it—foxtails can travel quickly.
