Titan & Apollo, Great Pyrenees littermates, are available for adoption. They will turn 4 years old on August 1. Both are intact males weighing 115-120 #. Pyrs are gentle giants that love people, especially children. Both get along well with other dogs. Titan likes cats; Apollo tolerates them. They’ll be here at Vermilion Veterinary Clinic tomorrow afternoon (6/17/26) for a meet-and-greet. Please call to schedule a time as we anticipate a lot of interest.

PLEASE SHARE: WHOSE DOG IS THIS? Intact male, no microchip or other identification, not overly friendly. Found roaming, possibly abandoned, in the Baumhart Road/SR 6 (former Ford plant) area. Brought to us today by this Good Samaritan who rescued him yesterday and took him home overnight to keep him safe since everything was closed on Sunday. Lorain County Dog Warden has been notified. Looking for a wildlife enthusiast to transport two Canada geese to Back to the Wild in Castalia this afternoon. This one was brought in last night after hours and, by happenstance, a second one was brought in this morning with injuries sustained by flying into Ritter Public Library. Judy, Payten & Katie are introducing Daisy, Cookie & Toby (L to R). These sweet dogs belonged to Chuck & Linda who, sadly, had to give them up for health reasons. Daisy is a 9-y/o F(S) ShihTzu/Bichon, Cookie is a 7-y/o F(S) Cavapoo & Toby is a M(N) Maltipoo turning 3 next month. All have had wonderful care and are current on vaccinations and parasite prevention. They are currently trained to piddle pads, but we have been working on housebreaking. Per our agreement with Chuck & Linda, a committee has been formed to find the perfect home for each/all of these dogs.
