All the dogs are out with each other during the day! We do have indoor kennels that they go in at bed time. We have 7 runs for dog boarding. We like to keep it small so we can spend plenty of time with our furry friends! ALL BOARDING DOGS MUST BE TREATED WITH A FLEA TREATMENT BEFORE BEING DROPPED OFF . We groom cats. Starting rate $40.00

es 2 baths, nail trim and file, ear cleaning, and the cut of your choice (if possible). A**l gland expression and flea treatment are a $5.00 extra cost. Our grooming prices are the best in the area! We use all natural grooming products. We trim nails $8.00 for a trim and file. Walk-in's welcome!! Matthew LaValley has over 20 years of experience working with animals, first as a veterinary technician for a small animal practice in Connecticut. He taught a veterinary assistant course at Middlesex Community College for four years and was involved in volunteering at an animal shelter. He went to The Connecticut Canine Education Center in Newington
and finished his studies in animal grooming in 2008. He worked for multiple grooming and boarding facilities before opening Wag On Inn in 2010.

Yey! It's Friday and we had another busy week! We groomed almost 70 dogs and 5 cats! We had some English Setters come in today (first 4 pics)so let's learn more about that breed with our Friday Fun Facts 🎉 We hope everyone has a great weekend!

The English Setter is a gentle, energetic, and sociable gundog known for its elegant, feathered coat and friendly temperament, making it a good family companion for active owners. Originally bred for hunting, they are intelligent and require regular exercise, but they are sensitive and respond best to positive reinforcement training. They have a long history as a "setting dog," pointing to game for hunters, and today exist in both show and field lines with distinct appearances. Gentle, friendly, sociable, and eager to please, but can be strong-willed; they crave attention and hate being left alone. A mainly white coat with flecks of color (belton) in blue, orange, or liver; long, silky feathering on ears, legs, tail, and belly.
Medium-large; males typically 60-85 lbs, females 55-75 lbs.
High energy outdoors, needing lots of running, hiking, and play, but calm indoors. An old breed, developed from "setting spaniels" to find and "set" (point) game for hunters.
Modern types were shaped by breeders like Edward Laverack (show lines) and R. Purcell Llewellin (field lines).
