Sitting in the Orthopedist’s office…waiting to get a HA ( Hyaluronic Acid injection in my shoulder…have been putting off a shoulder replacement for 6 years.

Appointment 10am…10:31 now 🙄

Anyone else HATE when practices do this?

Why can’t they schedule appointments so they run in time?

I try to schedule the 1st appointment of the day…this time I could not get it😞

Last week I inquired abouf how you fold you towels…now I am curious about what you do with your sheets…🤔

I have watched numerous instructional videos on how to fold…yet I still struggle to achieve the desired outcome of neatly folded sheets like the bottom picture shows.

Glad no one looks in my linen closet😂😂😂

Tonight we tried a new Thai Restaurant…on the east end of Ventura. I love where we live, but good restaurants is not it’s the claim to fame😉

Chili 🌶️ Thai Basil located where Lalo’s used to be in the Von’s on Telegraph & Victoria.

All I can say is WOW! The food was great and the service was excellent.

They have been open for 1 week…we kept reading about it on NextDoor, no one had a negative thing to say, I couldn’t wait to try it as Thai is my favorite food👍

Mark had Pra Ram ( chicken & spinach with Peanut Sauce) I had Pumpkin Curry…soo good!!

Four years ago on 1/14 my BFF Marlene Herman passed away…as much as we wanted to keep her beloved Bella, it was deemed by a animal behaviorist that is was not safe for our little pups ( Bella was a 90 LB Shepard) and it was determined that she was best suited to be an “only” Fur Baby.

She was part of the National Search Dog Foundation’s Lifetime Companion Program, and we surrendered her back to them, as per the contract that was signed when she was adopted.

I have remained in touch with Krista Eulberg who is Coordinator of the Lifetime Companion Program*
Krista and I stayed in touch and she would send me updates with pics every few months.

When a dog goes through the training…but does not make it in for various reasons ( in Bella’s case, it was her barking) NSDF watches over them for life).

A few days ago I received this letter from Krista

“Hi Nina,
I just wanted to let you know that Bella crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on January 2. She had been suffering from some health issues that just couldn’t be fixed.
She had a wonderful life with her dog mom, who treated her like the Princess she was.
RIP, dear sweet Bella.”

I am glad that Princess Bella and Marlene are now together🥰



*NSDF dogs are wonderful…if you are in Ventura County this is a great place to adopt from. The majority of the dogs who are rescued and trained make it into their Search & Rescue Program.
