Canada Larga Stables Canada Larga Stables is a gorgeous, secluded facility on 3500 acres. We have two covered, lighted are We have a variety of trainers to meet your needs.

We have two covered, lighted arenas, a dressage court, an enormous jumping arena and a large and small round pen. We also have miles of private trails and a mini cross-country course. Our resident trainers include Patrice Vernand (ranch riding & western disciplines https://www.patricevernand.com), Gail Hoff-Carmona (dressage trainer and judge http://www.losalamosdressage.com/), Suzanne Galsterer (dressage) and Kristi Troyna of MCRC Equestrian (English/Western, kids program, beginners through advanced, lesson horses. www.mcrcequestrian.com ). All boarders must go through an application process to be accepted to board, which contributes to the peaceful and happy environment. FREE SADDLE FITTING DAY at Cañada Larga Stables on Friday! I’ll have all my demos out in the large covered arena for people to try a variety of models and I will fit you and your horse. This is totally free for horses at the stables. Anyone trailering a horse in just pays the $40 trailer-in fee to the facility.

I was chatting with some of the girls this week and said we should have a holiday show in December. I was thinking a play day, but of course they started saying jumper show! jumper show! What do you guys want to see for a holiday show in December? I don’t think there’s a whole lot going on in that month besides Christmas, so I thought it would be a fun time to have something.

We have an opening coming up! We have two large pipe corrals across from each other that will be opening up in September. These are great corrals in a very convenient location directly across from each other, but your buddies won’t be side-by-side. As horse owners with horses that might get overly attached, we know how nice it can be when they’re not side-by-side, but having the convenience of them near.  We feed three times per day and clean and water daily.  We have a total of six arenas to ride in and two round pens. Large corrals with three feeds of alfalfa per day are $750 per month. Food substitutions are extra.  We also have a variety of trainers to choose from who specialize in dressage, hunter/jumpers, western, ranch riding, beginners and working equitation.

Pasture Love ❤️
Too bad this pic was taken from so far away, but it’s cute. The little ch*****ne filly just recently came in to spend some time growing up in the pasture. Chance is very happy about having a new girlfriend. Later in the day they were standing nose to tail, swishing flies off each other’s faces.
