🐾 McLaren is still waiting for his person! He's a 4 year old beauty who was brought into Sarasota County Animal Shelter-we knew we wanted him to join our SFAR family, so we put in a transfer request if no owner was found. Fast forward to today, he's all settled in with us but wanting a home of his very own. How can you resist this beautiful boy? 🐾

🐾 Lucy says “I’ll just sit right here in this chair until you take me home!” Lucy, 8 years old, is searching for a family who wants a cat that can just be a cat. She’s been a resident, and we now believe she will thrive in a home of her very own. She doesn’t require a lot of petting, not fan of belly rubs, and is vocal and opinionated (we wouldn't want her any other way!) She just may be one of many felines that blossom, once they leave the shelter, with the love, patience and companionship of one very special person ❤️ 🐾

🐾 if a little kitten isn’t what the doctor has ordered, a 1 year old just may be the prescription you need! They have reached adult in size but you can still count on boundless energy, zoomies, bursts of mischief 😈 and have developed their own unique personality! They tend to take a little longer to find their families at this age, so why not skip kittenhood, and adopt one (or two) of these beauties? 🐾

🐾 Bella Blue needs a home 🙏 At 15 years old, she’s a gorgeous long haired beauty, and she knows it! Bella says “I command respect from my humans. I will let you know when I need attention and when I've had enough with a gentle paw smack, but I don’t use my nails!” Yes, she is demanding, but at 15, she can be anything she wants to be. 🐾 Sundays are for relaxing and recharging! Tigger was adopted May 21, and two days later, Violet joined the family as a foster to adopt- her official adoption 🎓 will be soon! They originally came from the same home, and are so happy to be reunited again ❤️
Their new mom says she renamed them after two cats from her favorite book series, Dungeon Crawler Carl. Violet is now Princess Doughnut and Tigger is now Sir Ferdinand! We think their mew names are just perfect! 🐾
