🐾 Remember the group of cats and kittens that were dumped in a crate on the lawn of a local funeral home? All of the kittens are ready to find their forever homes, (except for Big Bird, who is still recovering) and our hope is that they all find loving families this week!
The adults- Miss Piggy, Honeydew, Kermit and Smoochie-all have been adopted- and now it's time for the babies to shine! This is truly the meaning of rescue, and we're so grateful we were able to give each and every one of these deserving felines the chance for love and families they so deserve🐾

🐾 Lucy is still waiting for just the right pawrent! She’s been a resident for a while now, but can go home when she finds her perfect human. Now 9 years old, she’s on the hunt for a family who wants a cat that can just be a cat. Not a lot of petting, no belly rubs. 🐾 When Hilton arrived at our shelter with her sister, Tapestry, the two girls had an important job to do - together they were moms to nine little kittens. The plan was for us to care for their babies, spay both moms and then return Hilton and Tapestry to their owner. We kept our promise, and the girls went back home. Their owner ultimately realized that keeping Hilton and Tapestry outdoors wasn't the life she wanted for them, or they needed. Wanting something better for the girls, she reached out to us and asked if we would take them back and find them loving indoor homes. Hilton, 2 years old, and Tapestry, 11/2, have returned - this time with no kittens depending on them, and no mothering left to do. Now it's all about the mommas! Hilton and Tapestry have already been someone's mama. Now they're ready to be someone's baby! 🐾
