Thanks to a generous sponsorship from our longtime competitor Marilyn Bunnell (Who won her first buckle at our Cowgirl Crew Series) We are excited to add the First Buckle division to our series. Here’s how it works. When you call to schedule your ride time with Darlene you let her know you are eligible. What makes you eligible? You have NEVER won a buckle on ANY HORSE in ANY EVENT. You ride as usual against all other riders but will have your scores kept with all other first buckle eligible riders. The rider with the highest score in this group will receive a beautiful Chavez buckle. Riders will still be eligible to place in our regular divisions and receive top ten awards. If a rider should win first in an open,intermediate or novice class they will be removed from the first buckle category.
