Next week we will be presenting a Beginner Horse Owner Guide. We’ll cover everything you need to know to give your horse the best care, including:
✅ when and how to do preventative care (dentals, vaccines, dewormer)
✅ proper hoof care
✅ nutrition
✅ safety and handling tips
✅ pre-purchase exams and choosing the right horse for your needs
You will also have a chance to practice essential skills, such as:
✅ giving oral medications/dewormer
✅ giving an injection
✅ getting vitals (heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature)
✅ and more!
Each participant will also be provided with a record sheet for each of their horses and a preventative care schedule to reference at home.
