Welcome to Knotalotta Acres, where there is never Knotalotta going on! 🌻 We technically began our journey in 2010 with the hopes of having a successful garden. We harvested everything from corn to beans and herbs to lettuce. It was decent, but we both learned a lot from that first garden. In 2011 we had a little more luck with our produce and we added a flock of chickens. We built a chicken tractor and they spent much of their time grazing in the yard. However we had bigger plans for them. In 2012 we moved the garden to a larger part of the yard, and let the chickens have that space to roam. We also added some guinea hens and ducks to our flock, which we later decided wasn't such a good idea and traded them for some bantams. In 2012, we harvested 400+ pounds of produce. Yet again we had bigger plans for the following year...

This year we have added meat birds (cornish X rocks), and are adding Black Australorps, Auraucanas, and White Orpingtons. We are trying to produce our own meat chickens for a whole year. On top of adding meat chickens, we also added some Flemish Giants, Anne and Henry, who produced a litter of 7 on 1/23/13. We are hoping to crossbreed with either Californians or New Zealands for a smaller meat rabbit. Our other goal for 2013 is to produce 800+ pounds of produce. So join us on our journey of trials and tribulations. We hope to inspire everyone in our approach to a more simple, self sufficient life. We'll be doing everything from butchering our first rabbits and meat birds, canning and food preservation, producing heirloom fruits and vegetables, cooking with our produce and home grown meat, and everything in between.

We are open today until dusk.

Lots of eggs. All of our girls are laying, so we have plenty of eggs to offer.
Chicken - $2/dz
Small chicken eggs - 50¢/6
Quail - 2dz for $5
Goose - $1 each

I just put out fresh kale, green beans, & pineapple and cherry tomatoes. There is also plenty of pumpkins, cushaw and butternut squash

Fall crafts are on sale and there are still a few items left in the FREE craft bin.

My sage plants are doing amazing this year. If you would like a large amount to dry for yourself for cooking or making smudge sticks, contact me, and I'll be happy to harvest what you'd like.

We are only open due 3 more days!! We'll see you again on 10/25

Come by and grab your favorite goodies before we close on Saturday for 2 weeks!!

There are a few Chocolate Chip and Gourd Big or Go Home cookies left. Also a loaf of Cinnamon Swirl Sourdough, Regular, and Sandwich left.

We have pumpkins, squashes, tomatoes, onions, kale, and sage. All this month, all sales from our herbs and veggies will go towards my Easter Seals Fundraiser.
Every month from now until February I will be donating my sales from different items such as candles, breads, cookies, and crafts. So keep an eye on the page if you would like to help my fundraiser.

There is a bin with free Halloween crafts. Please leave the bin.

From now until the end of the month all veggie sale profits will be going to Easter Seals MORC. I raise funds to be donated every year and we gather to celebrate in February. There will be fundraising specials every month until February ❤️

It's been a morning 🥴 But we're open!!

Cookies this weekend are Chocolate Chip and Gourd Big, or Go Home

There is 1 Pumpkin Spice and 2 Cinnamon Swirl Sourdough loaves. I will be putting out Soft Sandwich and Bread Bowls...as long as the oven cooperates with me 😒 I will not be restocking breads on Sunday. But I will be putting out more regular, pumpkin, and cinnamon swirl tomorrow morning.

Tons of chicken, quail, and a goose egg on the cooler.

Lots of fall scented candles, fall crafts, some tomatoes, onions, and basil.

Once I clean up the disaster that is my kitchen, I will put out butternut, sweet dumpling, and cushaw squashes as well as kale and more onions.

This is the last weekend we will be open. We will be closed from 10/10-10/24.

Well, apparently the oven and I disagreed on the idea of baking 4 loaves at a time 🥴 Even though I did it last week and everything went well. My cinnamon swirl loaves came out just fine. But 2 of my regular and one of my pumpkin got a little overdone on the bottom.
I have ZERO room in any of my 7 freezers 🫣 for these loaves (I will eat them, cuz I don't mind a little extra crispy on the bottom). So if anyone would like to purchase these at a discount of $2 for the regular and $4 for the pumpkin, comment here or message me.
That said, I will have 2 cinnamon swirl and 1 pumpkin available late this morning. I'm also working on some soft sandwich loaves to put out this afternoon.
