How do I find a reputable Doberman breeder?
The best thing a breeder can show you is results β puppies they've sold that are actually doing what they were supposed to do. Competing. Working. Thriving. Ask them directly: can I talk to some of your previous buyers? Can I see those dogs? That's the real proof. Not a website. Not a price tag.
Also look at how long a breeder has been doing this β not just in years, but in litters. Ten years sounds like a lot, but if that breeder has only produced three or four litters in that time, they don't have the depth of experience they're claiming.
