My heart is so full of gratitude! ❤️

For the 4th year in a row, Studio D.O.G has been voted GOLD, and I truly cannot put into words how much this means to me!

To every single person who took the time to vote, shared our name, recommended us, or simply continued to support us over the years, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart! Your love, loyalty, and trust mean more to me than any award ever could. I never take for granted the fact that you choose us to care for your precious babies. Being able to do something I genuinely love every single day is such a blessing, and it’s because of all of you that I get to continue doing it.
I also want to take a moment to thank Tasha and Becca. I honestly couldn’t ask for two better ladies to share my workdays with. The laughter, the conversations, the friendship, and the memories we make along the way are something I treasure more than you know. You both help make our salon such a happy, welcoming, and enjoyable place to be. Having a work environment filled with laughter, kindness, and genuine friendship is something truly special, and I’m so thankful for both of you! 💕
At the end of the day, it’s so much more than grooming dogs. It’s the relationships we’ve built, the friendships we’ve made, the sweet little faces we get to love on, and the people who make every day worthwhile.
Four years of GOLD is an incredible honor, but the love and support behind it are what mean the most.

🐩 QUALITY GROOMING TAKES TIME ✂️

A proper Poodle or Doodle groom is not a quick process. Even on a well-maintained dog, two hours is often the MINIMUM needed to properly bathe, condition, thoroughly dry, fluff the coat, prep it correctly, and complete a quality haircut.

EVERY STEP MATTERS

You may see a dog in my salon wearing a happy hoodie during drying. It isn’t for looks—it helps protect and muffle the sound around their ears and makes the drying process more comfortable. Those little details are part of providing thoughtful, professional care.

After years in this industry, I can look at a coat and immediately recognize the difference between one that has been properly bathed, dried, fluffed, and prepped and one that hasn’t. The finished haircut starts long before the scissors/clippers ever touch the dog.

This isn’t about criticizing another groomer’s work. Every groomer runs their business differently. But when I hear complaints about my pricing, it can be frustrating knowing how much time, experience, care, and attention goes into every dog I groom—especially when clients may pay a similar price elsewhere for a completely different level of preparation and finish.

I don’t rush the process to fit more dogs into my day. My pricing reflects my time, experience, and the quality of the finished groom—not simply the size or weight of the dog.

There will always be somewhere cheaper, faster, or simply different. My goal isn’t to be the fastest** although my dogs are finished in a timely manner. My goal is to do it properly.** ❤️🐾
