We’re excited to introduce the PAWS Program at Rocket Grooming, short for Pet Assistance & Welfare Support.
PAWS was created to make professional grooming more affordable for qualifying households in our community. Appointments are available Saturdays only and are currently available to customers who can provide qualifying verification through SNAP, Medicaid, or SSI.
PAWS pricing is:
0–19 lbs: $20
20–40 lbs: $30
40+ lbs: $40
For customers enrolled in PAWS, matting fees are capped at $10 per appointment. Huskies, German Shepherds, and similar heavy double-coated breeds are not included in standard PAWS pricing due to the additional time and coat work they typically require.
How verification works: We do not photograph, scan, copy, or keep your verification documents. Verification is completed simply by visually reviewing your current qualifying document or card at the time of enrollment.
On our end, we only make a note on your customer account showing:
*which verification method was used
*the date it was verified
*who verified it
*the next verification date
(Verification is renewed every 6 months.)
We do not keep card numbers, benefit amounts, case numbers, or copies of your personal documents. The verification is used only to confirm eligibility for the PAWS Program.
Our goal is to keep the process simple, respectful, and private while making routine grooming more accessible to families who need a lower-cost option.
