Important Update: New Business Hours & Pickup Policy

Beginning next week, Rocket Grooming's business hours will be 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

With the school year beginning, I must leave each afternoon to pick up my children from school. Because of this, all pets must be picked up by 2:00 p.m. Please only schedule appointments on days you can meet this pickup time.

If you believe you may be unable to arrive by 2:00 p.m., please arrange for a family member or friend to pick up your pet on your behalf. The shop will be closed and locked after 2:00 p.m., and I will not be available for late pickups.

Thank you for your understanding and for helping me balance caring for your pets while also meeting my responsibilities as a father.

I want to sincerely thank everyone who has been so understanding over the past few weeks as I closed the shop on and off to be with my dad. Your patience, kindness, and encouragement to put family first have meant more than I can express.

Moving forward, I plan to remain open as scheduled, with the exception of my father's funeral services. Right now, I need the routine of work and a sense of normalcy. Being able to focus on serving my clients while I'm at work is an important part of helping me move forward.

I do have one small request. If possible, over the next month, I'd appreciate not discussing my loss while I'm working. I know every comment comes from a place of love, and I'm truly grateful for that. For now, I'm trying to keep my focus on work during business hours, then spend time with my family afterward.

I still have the responsibility of leading and providing for my household, and that responsibility remains important to me. Thank you all for your compassion, understanding, and continued support. It has meant the world to my family and me. ❤️

Today we said goodbye to my dad, Jose Madera. Thank you to everyone who has prayed for and supported our family.

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want... Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me." Psalm 23

To all of my wonderful clients,

I just wanted to say thank you for your patience, kindness, and understanding during this season.

My dad is facing a very serious medical battle, and I'm doing my best to be there with him while also continuing to care for all of your pets. At this time, Rocket Grooming Salon remains open and I plan to honor every appointment I reasonably can.

The only time I may need to adjust or reschedule appointments is if my dad experiences a medical emergency or his condition suddenly declines and my family needs me at the hospital.

Thank you for giving me the grace to be both a business owner and a son during one of the hardest seasons of my life. Your prayers, encouragement, and support mean more than you know.
