We’re halfway to the weekend, y’all! 🎉

Around here, we’re homesteaders with REAL jobs… which means we work all day to pay for the homestead, then come home and work some more! 😂🐓🌱

Our evenings and weekends are filled with gardening, tending to the animals, harvesting, canning, and tackling whatever project we’ve dreamed up next!

Some folks look forward to the weekend to relax. We look forward to the weekend so we can get MORE work done! 🤣💪

Just a couple more days until we can trade our work shoes for muddy boots!

🍎🍂 Fall Flavors & Busy Days at Register’s Roost! 🐓🏡

If there’s one thing you can count on around here, it’s that SOMETHING is always going on at the Roost! 😂❤️

Last weekend, the kitchen was smelling like fall, the pots were bubbling, and the mason jars were lining up! 🍁

🌺 A few beautiful jars of homemade Roselle jelly!

There’s just something special about turning simple ingredients into homemade goodness, one jar at a time! ❤️

Around here, we don’t sit still for long! If we’re not digging in the garden, tending to the chickens and rabbits, or dreaming up another project for the Yard Boy, you can probably find us cooking up something in the kitchen! 😂🐓

A little messy, a whole lot of busy, and always made with love!

🐰🌱 Meet the New Girls at Register’s Roost! 🐓💚

Well, y’all… the Roost has officially gone a little more HOPPY! 😂🐰

We have SIX new girls joining the Register’s Roost family, and these sweet Tamuk rabbits aren’t just here for their adorable faces and big floppy ears! They’re about to become some of the hardest-working little ladies on the homestead! 🌿💚

💩 Yep, we’re talking BUNNY BERRIES! 😂

Did you know rabbit manure is one of the best natural fertilizers for your garden?

🌱 Nutrient-Rich: Provides nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium to help our gardens thrive!

🥕 Garden Gold: Rabbit manure is considered a cold manure, meaning it’s less likely to burn plants than many other animal manures.

And these girls have a BIG job ahead of them! They’ll be helping fertilize not only the gardens here at Register’s Roost, but we’ll also be sharing that garden gold with our friends over at Three Chicks & A Yard Boy! 🌸🐓

🔨🐰 Now, can we talk about our YARD BOY for a minute?!

He has absolutely outdone himself! Just look at this bunny mansion! 🏡👏

From the custom-built enclosure and individual sleeping quarters to the colorful little ramps, protective screening, and all the thoughtful details, he put some serious time, creativity, and hard work into making our girls a beautiful new home!

And let’s not overlook that “BUNNY P**P HERE” sign! 😂💩

Around here, the ladies come up with the ideas, the Yard Boy gets handed the projects, and somehow he keeps making our crazy homestead dreams come true! ❤️🔨

We might have promised him a little downtime… but y’all know how that goes! 😂

🐓🐰 More animals, more projects, more garden goodness, and a whole lot more love!

Because at Register’s Roost, there’s ALWAYS something going on! 💚

Around here, even our four-legged family members get a little homemade love! ❤️🐾

This weekend’s kitchen creation? Homemade Beef Tongue, Beef Heart & Beef Liver Pâté! 🥩

🌿 No preservatives
🌿 No fillers
🌿 No unnecessary additives
🌿 Just real, wholesome ingredients!

We add a little spoonful to their regular dog food occasionally for an extra special treat packed with protein and nutrients! 🐕

And let me tell y’all… we don’t need a marketing department at Register’s Roost! 😂
