“Ladies… this is not the haircut I asked for.” 😂🐾

Don’t worry — no pets were harmed in the making of this fashion statement. Just a little extra personality added to today’s appointment. 💇‍♀️✨

Annual Labwork: More Than “Just Bloodwork” 🩺🐾

Pets are masters at hiding illness. By the time they show obvious signs something is wrong, they may have already been uncomfortable for quite some time. That’s why annual labwork is such an important part of preventative care!

Routine bloodwork helps us:
✔️ Establish your pet’s normal baseline
✔️ Detect problems early — often before symptoms appear
✔️ Monitor organ function like the liver and kidneys
✔️ Check for infections, anemia, diabetes, thyroid disease, and more
✔️ Help ensure your pet is healthy before procedures or anesthesia

For senior pets or pets with ongoing conditions, routine labwork can be even more important. Early detection often means more treatment options, better outcomes, and more quality time together. 🤍

Your pet can’t tell you when something feels “off” — but their labwork can.

📞 Call us to schedule your pet’s wellness exam and annual screening today!

Yesterday, our team traded scrubs for gloves and spent some time helping clean up our local beach! 🌊🐾

We love caring for pets, but we also care about the environment they call home. Every little effort helps keep our community beautiful for people, pets, and wildlife alike.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to give back and make a positive impact beyond the walls of our hospital. 💚

☀️ HEAT SAFETY REMINDER ☀️

Summer fun is better when our furry friends stay safe, cool, and comfortable! 🐾💦

As temperatures rise, it’s important to remember that pets can overheat much faster than we do. Hot pavement, warm cars, and high humidity can quickly become dangerous.

A few simple ways to help keep your pet safe this summer:
💧 Always provide fresh water
🌳 Keep pets in shaded/cool areas
🐾 Avoid hot pavement walks during peak heat
🚗 Never leave pets in parked vehicles
🧊 Offer frozen treats or cooling mats

Be sure to watch for signs of heatstroke such as:
❗Excessive panting
❗Drooling
❗Vomiting
❗Weakness or collapse

If your pet is showing signs of overheating, seek veterinary care immediately.

Stay safe and enjoy the sunshine responsibly! ☀️
