One of the greatest lessons horses teach us is that progress isn’t always linear. Some days the ride feels effortless. Other days, nothing seems to go according to plan.

The good news? Tomorrow is a new opportunity—for both horse and rider.

Just as we give our horses grace as they learn and grow, God offers us the same grace each day. Yesterday’s mistakes, frustrations, and missed opportunities don’t define us. His mercies are new every morning, giving us another chance to show up, learn, and move forward.

Have faith in the process. Have faith in your horse. And most importantly, have faith in God. ❤️🐴

I will be attending Region 13 Regionals this year along side my Empire Farms, LLC family. I will be offering show fittings for $200 (this cost has the travel fee built in). I will be scheduling around the ride times of my friends once those are available. Don't hesitate to drop by and ask for a fitting! You can find me at the Empire Farm stalls, my banner will be hung there so you know where to find me!

Generosity doesn’t always have to look big to make a difference. In the horse world, it can be offering encouragement to a nervous rider, helping someone at the barn without being asked, sharing knowledge with kindness, supporting small equestrian businesses, volunteering at shows, or simply showing grace and patience to others.

A generous heart reflects God’s love in everyday moments — both in and out of the saddle. 🐴

If you’re looking to grow deeper in your faith this week, the YouVersion Bible App is a great place to start. Download it for daily Bible reading plans, devotionals, or even to listen to Scripture during your drive to the barn. ✨

Today we remember those who laid down their lives in service to our nation.

Their sacrifice reminds us that freedom comes at a cost, paid by brave men and women who loved something greater than themselves.

As we enjoy this Memorial Day with family, friends, and the blessings God has given us, may we pause to honor those who never made it home.

We can sometimes take for granted that we can worship however we want without fear or prosecution.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13

🇺🇸 We remember. We honor. We are grateful.

For this week, in a world that constantly tells us to work harder, do more, and earn our worth, this passage reminds us of a beautiful truth: God's gifts cannot be earned. His grace is freely given.

As horsemen and women, we understand the value of discipline, consistency, and hard work. But our relationship with God isn't built on performance. The greatest breakthroughs don't come from striving harder—they come from surrendering more.

God can do far more with our obedience and willingness to submit to His authority than we could ever accomplish under our own power. Just as trust and partnership create harmony in our work with horses, true transformation happens when we trust the One leading us.

When we stop relying solely on ourselves and allow God to direct our steps, He receives all the glory—and often accomplishes more than we could have imagined.

What area of your life is God asking you to surrender today? 🤍

Slow training isn’t about doing less — it’s about building more. ✨

By breaking training down into small, understandable pieces, we give our horses time to think, process, and gain confidence in what’s being asked. A strong foundation creates something both horse and rider can always come back to when challenges arise.

When we prioritize relaxation, true learning and muscle development can happen. This not only helps create strength and longevity both in and out of the ring, but also reduces the risk of injury along the way.

Most importantly, taking the time to train thoughtfully keeps horses mentally fresh, engaged, and happy in their work — preventing overwhelm and helping them maintain a positive attitude toward training for years to come. 🐴🤍

We kicked off our 2026 show season with an incredible first show at SAHIBA. Every single one of our riders had breakthrough partnerships with their horse— Every. Single. One. Each pair came ready to work on goals that did not involve ribbons and they crushed those goals with ribbons in the process.

🔥King had his first show back in nearly 2 years coming off an injury and rehab and Anna was recovering from ankle surgery. To say they both grew during that time was an understatement. King and Anna earned SHIH Supreme champion, Halter Champion and Adult Amateur 19-49 High Point Champion! Earning high ribbons in every under saddle class in the amateur division. An incredible comeback story for both of them.

🔥Maria and Finn are a new partnership this spring and they are truly a match made in heaven. Maria came with the goal to just give Finn a good first rated show experience and ended up bringing home every prize that wasn’t nailed down. Maria kept Finn calm and cool the whole weekend and gave him the experience she was hoping for. In addition to bringing Finn, Maria also brought her superstar, Noche, to log show miles and chip away at first level. He had tremendous growth in the dressage ring as they fine tuned their hard work from winter. Bringing 2 horses to a show is not an easy feat, but Maria handled it with class and grace.

🔥Aubrey and Phoenix are also a new partnership and these two probably had the most growth through the weekend. Phoenix was his usual self in the arena, but was apprehensive in the dressage court. Aubrey stuck to her guns and knew she could tackle an Intro test— and tackle it she did! Against all odds, she and Phoenix put down a lovely and RELAXED intro A test and went on to place well in all of their under saddle classes.

🔥Aiden and Blaze are old hands at this showing thing & they acted like the seasoned veterans they are. They tried western dressage for the very first time and had incredible scores, proving that this just might be Blaze’s next venture! Blaze also made his in hand debut with very respectable scores and ribbons. Blaze didn’t put a toe out of line & Aiden was relaxed the whole time.

🔥Dre and Morgan really put their training to the test and Dre was the best baby horse! He handled everything with poise and calm, was rideable and adjustable, and only had a few baby moments. He rode the training level tests for the first time and made it look easy! His best class of the weekend was his last class, which is what you always want at the show.

🔥Last but not least, the show’s Adult Amateur 50+ High Point Champion was Julie with Evan in their very first show together. They ribboned in almost every class and Evan trusted Julie with every request, going around like the campaigner that he is. These two had so much fun at the show, making Julie’s first show in almost 20 years one for the books.

Overall, WHAT a show, what a team and what a weekend!! Congrats to all and we cannot wait for the next show!
