Our Gate Was WIDE OPEN!!!
One of our employees was walking a dog and found this Mama and her four babies DUMPED in a BOX right in front of our gate! The kittens were climbing out of the box, and Mama was desperately trying to keep them safe by her side. They could have wandered into the road.
We have taken in EIGHT kittens today to protect them from the extreme heat. We always try go by appointment only, but if an animal really needs us then we will make an exception.
All you need to do is TALK TO US.

Can't afford food? We'll help you the best we can.
Can't afford a spay? We have places we can recommend to you for a lowcost spay & neuter.
We rarely ever say no.
But our best efforts are not good enough.
Mama was terrified. Our entire team run down to help and she leaped out of her box, panting from both heat exhaustion and stress. She hissed at first, but quickly calmed down when she realized we were there to help. She sent her babies to come running to us and jumped back in the box with the one that couldn't climb out.
She remained calm as she was carried inside, past the barking dogs, and into a safe and air conditioned kennel. She gratefully allowed us to access her kittens and finally relaxed.
There was NO REASON to dump them so close to a busy road. No reason to dump them at our gate when we were OPEN.
This brave, loving Mama and her sons are safe now.
