Offering as an agent on consignment the 7 year old brown dun Norwegian Fjord gelding Aalvar. Aalvar stands solid 14.1hh but feels bigger. He is NFHR registered ( #19-7621-G), papers are signed and will be handed over to the new owner.
Aalvar is a very social guy and really wants to be friends with everyone. But he is also the first one to come up to the gate to meet you. He loves attention (and food) and enjoys when a lot of things are going on to keep him stimulated. He is currently housed across the creek and crosses it without hesitation.

He was started under saddle a few years ago, but hasn’t had consistent riding. He lunges well and knows his groundwork. Under saddle, he walks and trots. His trot is very smooth and comfortable to sit. He has been ridden here both in an indoor arena and outside. He was quite comfortable next to the Hwy with loud traffic and honking cars driving by. In general he has more woah than go.

We believe Aalvar could be a gelding that deeply connects with his person and will do just about anything for him/her. He would be great for western dressage, trail riding or even someone interested in gaming. Aalvar has been on a weight loss program for the last three weeks since he is here. We are working to carefully reduce weight and increase fitness. Due to that, we are currently still a bit limited as to what we put him through.

Our little H at 2 days old! We just love this c**t! He is super sweet and personable and beautifully put together. While we are trying to come up with arguments why he should stay in our program, he will be offered for sale in the meantime.
At this point we have no doubt that he is both grey & white as he is much brighter as his white dun mom.
We still haven't named him yet, but hopefully we will find a fitting name soon!
