First up - my bestest, favouritist breed - the Salmon Faverolle. Why buy these eggs?
These are the kindest, most polite and loveable breed I have ever kept. They are excellent with small children, do not have an aggressive bone in their body, and are not flighty or difficult to catch. They lay about 220 proper, large cream eggs a year, ideal for cakes.
They are really easy to s*x with boys showing dark patches on their wings at three weeks.
