Our Fall Fest for Homeless Pets was a huge success. We brought in over $12,000 thanks to all the items donated for the auctions and the incredible bidding! The cats and dogs are grateful to all of you.

10/19/2026

Out of an abundance of caution we are going to remain closed until October 30th. Our cats are recovering and our staff is working tirelessly. We will still take appointments to show dogs or puppies. Thank you for your contributions and support during this difficult time.

Weโ€™re celebrating a very special girl, Elizabeth, one of Jefferson County Humane Societyโ€™s beloved mascots! โค๏ธ๐Ÿถ

Elizabeth has found her forever home with our wonderful shelter manager, but she hasnโ€™t forgotten her shelter friends!

Sheโ€™s living her best life while still being part of the JCHS family, and we couldnโ€™t be happier to celebrate her special day!

๐ŸŽ Would you like to send Elizabeth a birthday gift? ๐ŸŽ

For her birthday, Elizabeth would love to receive some goodies to share with her shelter friends!

โค๏ธ Her favorite gifts would include:

๐Ÿฆด Dog treats
๐Ÿฑ Cat treats
๐Ÿฅซ Wet dog food
๐Ÿพ Wet pรขtรฉ cat food

Your thoughtful donations will help spoil Elizabethโ€™s furry friends who are still waiting for their forever homes!

Every little gift makes a difference, and we know Elizabeth would be so happy to share the love. ๐Ÿ’—
