🚧 𝗨𝗽𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 🚧
Starting around 𝗙𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, construction workers will be operating outside of the clinic. They will be completing Phase 1 of the Cole Grade Road widening phase. During Phase 1, they will be removing the overhead power lines and instead putting them underground. We are not sure about the full impact but we will do everything we can to keep things efficient.

We highly recommend planning ahead and giving yourself an extra 10-15 minutes before driving in this area.

🌿🐾 Did you know that some plants can be harmful to your furry friends?

😔 Plants like Elephant’s Ear, Begonia, Caladium, Dumb Cane, Philodendron, and Umbrella Tree contain needle-shaped crystals called raphides that can cause mouth and throat irritation, difficulty swallowing, and swelling in pets.

👀 Other common garden plants that can be harmful to pets include Nightshades, Datura, Poppy plants, Oleander, and Foxglove.

🚫 Keep your pets safe by being aware of potential hazards and preventing access to harmful plants.

🐶🔊🚪Stop the barking with this simple approach!

Reward your dog for a behavior that makes barking inconvenient. Incompatible behaviors include retrieving a toy, tugging on a toy, and going to their bed or crate.

First, teach the new behavior in a quiet and distraction-free space, rewarding your dog generously for a correct performance.

Next, practice the behavior in the area where your dog barks, gradually increasing the challenge level. Cue the new behavior the moment your dog is distracted, and prompt them if needed.

Soon, your dog will perform the new behavior instead of barking when they hear a stimulus like the doorbell, delivery truck, or barking neighbor dogs.
