Was met by Aphonopelma sp. on Mount Diablo yesterday! These guys are going into mating season and it was such a treat to see this nice sized male on the prowl for some loving lol.

I had to skip vending Reptile Realms San Mateo this weekend and was super bummed about it. This guy definitely brought the joy 🥹
