Hey everybody this will be a long post so be sure to read through it all.

We are excited to kick off the 2026 season. But first an update on prior mounts. As many of you know tanneries have become more and more backed up over the last few years and so our turnaround time is affected by that. The good news is I have the expected timeline for all current mounts with us.
- I have a group of 50 mounts ready to go out from last 2024 season and early to mid 2025.
- I also have 50 other hides ready to mount from 2025 that will be ready for pickup around the end of October.
- The remaining hides for 2025 will be in to us by the end of October (approx) and mounted and ready for pick up by December ish.

Thanks for being patient as the delay is out of our hands.

However, because of this back up and the need to get completely caught up, we have decided to only take 100 deer for this season. In the next week or so I will be posting about how you can pay a deposit to reserve a spot for this season, however I will be limiting the spots that can be reserved.

My plan is that once we are caught up we can get back to full business as normal next year. Thanks for all your support and if you have a deer with us currently be looking for us to reach out in and around the timeline mentioned above.

Bow hunters get ready for the season! We have a 100% FREE 3D ARCHERY SHOOT on Saturday, August 22nd at 9am hosted by Hulls Grove Baptist Church.

This is a fun no pressure way to get some real world practice in before season starts.

The shoot will be at K**b Creek Taxidermy at 8390 South Hebron Church Rd. in Vale. Everyone is invited to join us!

Below is some more info about the shoot…

All shooters need to arrive by 9am. We will do a "sh***un start" at 9:30am. After 10 targets have been shot we will break for an early lunch, the "long shot", and devotion.
Afterward we will shoot 5 targets, and then conclude with a 5 target rapid fire event (totaling 20 targets).
Awards will given to the winners of each class of the shoot as well as the "long shot".
You will need to bring 5 arrows for the rapid fire round.
