With these high temperatures, a few extra precautions can help keep your pup safe and comfortable:

• Keep fresh, cool water available at all times.
• Limit walks and outdoor play to the early morning or evening.
• Avoid hot pavement—it can burn sensitive paw pads.
• Make sure your dog has access to shade and air conditioning.
• Watch for signs of overheating like excessive panting, drooling, weakness, or vomiting.
