Gran Foundation Quarter Horses Specializing in quality Foundation Bred Quarter Horses. Offering Riding Lessons, and Pony Rides in a safe welcoming environment.

We are committed to all riders of any age, building confidence and horsemanship skills. HM Painted Horses strives to give the best and most fun riding lessons for all ages. we focus on safety and proper riding techniques as we are having a great time. We also take our wonderful shetland pony out to cater to your next event for your children(under 80lbs) or any other awesome reason you can think of that youd love to have us at.(more ponies and a draft horse soon to be added to our line up)

🌾 **Help Us Keep Our Horses Happy, Healthy & Well-Fed!** 🌾

Here at Gran Foundation Quarter Horses, our horses are the heart of everything we do! From teaching children and adults how to ride to providing hands-on equine education through our Ranch Days program, these amazing animals give so much to our community.

With **13 horses in our care**, the cost of keeping everyone fed, healthy, and comfortable adds up quickly!

🐴 **Here's a breakdown of our expenses:**

🌾 **HAY**

* 65 bales needed monthly
* $14–$18 per bale
* **Monthly cost: $910–$1,170**

🥕 **SUPPLEMENTAL FEED**

* Nutrena Topline: $40 per bag
* Fed at 1 lb per horse daily
* Helps support their nutritional needs and overall condition.

🧲 **FARRIER CARE**
Our horses receive hoof care every 6 weeks!

* 1 horse with full shoes: $165
* 2 horses with half shoes: $290
* 10 horses receiving trims: $750
* **Total: $1,205 every 6 weeks!**

❤️ **HOW CAN YOU HELP?**

Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference!

🐎 $45 Riding lesson helps buy 2 bales.

🌾 $14–$18 sponsors a bale of hay.

🐴 $40 helps purchase a bag of supplemental feed.

🧲 $75 covers one horse's hoof trim.

We're excited to offer Ranch Days twice a month as a way to bring our community together and introduce people of ALL ages to the wonderful world of horses!

Our goal is to provide affordable, hands-on learning experiences while teaching the importance of horsemanship, responsibility, and respect for these amazing animals.

🐎 **What will you learn?**

📚 **Equine Education** – Learn about horses, their behavior, how they communicate, and what makes them so unique!

🪣 **Horse Care 101** – Get hands-on experience with feeding, watering, grooming, and the daily responsibilities of caring for horses.

🤠 **Horse Handling Skills** – Learn how to safely approach, lead, and work around horses while building confidence and trust.

🏇 **Riding Basics Skills** – Learn the fundamentals of riding, including balance, proper positioning, and communicating with your horse.

**No horse experience necessary!**

Whether you're a child, teenager, or adult, there's something for everyone to learn and enjoy.

📅 Twice a month on Saturdays

💲 $50 per person (each Ranch Days class)

Good morning & happy monday,

🐴❤️ Ever Wonder What It Costs to Keep Our Ranch Horses Happy & Healthy?❤️🐴

Here at Gran Foundation Quarter Horses, our horses are more than just animals we ride. They're our family, our teachers, and the heart of everything we do!

We wanted to share a little behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to care for our 13 horses every month!

🌾 **Hay:** $910–$1,170 per month

🥣 **Grain:** Approximately $400 per month

🐎 **Farrier Care:** Approximately $870 per month, with hoof care scheduled every 6 weeks.

💰 **That's roughly $2,180–$2,440 EVERY MONTH!**

And that's just the basics!
It doesn't include veterinary care, dental work( which is roughly $135 per horse once a year), deworming ($16 per tube or 2 bags of pellet wormer at $45 a bag), supplements(only one gets a supplement currently), equipment, or maintaining our facilities.

❤️ So why are we sharing this?

Because we want our clients and supporters to understand just how much their participation means to our little ranch!

When you sign up for riding lessons, you're doing so much more than learning to ride a horse.

You're helping put hay in their feeders, keeping their hooves healthy, and allowing us to continue providing a safe, educational, and enjoyable experience for everyone who walks through our gates.

Every lesson booked helps us continue doing what we love while giving our horses the care they deserve.

We are not a big commercial facility or a family with deep pockets. We're a small ranch with a big passion for horses and teaching others all about them.

Every bit of support makes a difference!

Good evening
My youngest had a mishap at the store with shopping cart and fell on her head on the concrete and it looks like she fractured her skull. We are headed to trauma center and not sure how long until we'll be released. So as of right now we will need to post pone class for tomorrow. 🥺

We will figure out a make up date for class.
