Little Libby, as we’ve been calling her, loves her new Raggedy Andy toy 🧸 ❤️ Libby is the puppy with hydrocephalus that was recently taken into BrokeTail.

She’s a very happy girl who loves to cuddle and cries when she’s not the center of attention🤣 But she deserves all the spoiling, she’s a very special girl!

We want to thank everyone who donated to her!🐾💕 She has an upcoming appointment with the vet and then we will have more information on the severity of her condition. We will update soon!!❤️

This little puppy was born with Hydrocephalus. It is a genetic condition they are born with. It is an excess of cerebrospinal fluid that leaks inside the skull.

These puppies often live very short lives, ranging from a few weeks to a few months. However, they can live longer depending on the severity of their condition. This puppy is nine weeks old.

Despite her condition, she is still a normal puppy. She gets playful, wants to cuddle, and is very personable. ❤️🐾

We are going to do everything we can to extend her life and make her as comfortable as possible. If you would like to support her journey, any donations are appreciated, whether it be monetary or puppy supplies. We love Amazon gift surprises and we accept Venmo and PayPal.

Hi everyone!

BrokeTail Rescue has rescued a litter of Boston Terrier/Jack Russell puppies!🐾❤️

They are nine weeks old, born on April 13th. They are absolutely adorable and so playful! There are five total, but one was born special. We will be sharing her story in another post.

These puppies will be looking for their forever homes soon. They will be fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated before they go to their new homes. Please keep an eye out for more updates on these cuties!

Meet Davis 🌇 Davis is a 12yr old, 10lb, Chihuahua mix. Davis is a very active boy. Don’t let his age fool you!!! Davis loves to jump in cars and go for car rides. Davis loves to go for walks and is friendly with everyone he meets, 2or4 legged! Davis is a very social older gentleman. I imagine Davis the one at the senior home who gets the party started and gets everyone moving. Davis loves his people and hasn’t met a person he doesn’t like. If you’re looking for a walking buddy, going out around town buddy, or a buddy who will be chill at home but still get you out and about, Davis is for you. Meet Ruthie 💐 Ruthie is a 10yr old 10lb Chihuahua mix. Ruthie is a sweet girl who loves everyone. She can be a little shy of people for a hot minute, but when she warms up she is a girl who loves to be held and cuddled. Ruthie gets along with all dogs and will “mother” the smaller dogs. Ruthie is missing all of her teeth, and her lower jaw is starting to resorb because of this, but that doesn’t make her miss any meals. Ruthie is a healthy eater, and will even eat the smaller sized kibble. If you’re looking for a little buddy that wants to cuddle or go out on the town, Ruthie is the girl for you. Ruthie is spayed, vaccinated, up to date on her rabies and microchipped. Meet Clara! 💚☘️ She is an eleven week old, Terrier mix. She is on the smaller side, currently weighing 8 pounds.

Clara is very outgoing! She would make a great adventure buddy, hiking, car rides, swimming, anything outdoors she loves! She loves other dogs and would make a great playmate for another dog. She is curious about cats but doesn’t mind them. Clara has a lot of energy and would need daily time to play outside. She is still a puppy and needs be taught her manners, leash training, basic commands, and potty training. She is a quick learner and treat motivated. She has the softest fur and would need to be brushed to upkeep it. Clara is a gentle, loving girl and really wants to find her forever home.

Meet Sammy! 🩵🌿He is an eight week old, Beagle/Chihuahua mix looking for his forever home!

Sammy was found as a stray in Stockton with his sister, Stevie. Sammy is a gentle, smart boy. He loves all people and animals. He wants a person he can follow around all day long and hang out with. He absolutely loves cuddling. He gets along with other dogs and even cats. Sammy will need to learn his manners with some basic puppy training. But he is very smart and food motivated!
